On Thursday, September 5, Noah Cyrus decided to channel her sister Miley Cyrus’ iconic style with a major makeover.

The 24-year-old singer and actress took to the stage at New York City’s So & So’s Piano Bar, debuting a striking new look that dramatically differed from her typical dark hair.

Noah Cyrus unveiled a glamorous shoulder-length blonde do, complete with short bangs and voluminous curls.

The new look wasn’t just a nod to Miley but also gave off serious Marilyn Monroe vibes. Her glam factor was elevated with a smoky eye and nude lip.

Noah opted for an effortlessly chic ensemble, sporting a form-fitting strapless brown dress that showcased her arm tattoos. The dramatic style change left fans stunned and doing double takes.

Her new blonde hairstyle is striking, similar to her sister's iconic look from the 2024 Grammys. Her longtime hairstylist, Bob Recine, revealed to People Magazine that they aimed for a fresh take, blending a '70s Barbarella vibe with a contemporary punk twist.

"[We] "wanted to create [something] different than last year, with a style that felt like it had a '70s, Barbarella feel while still having a modern, punk edge," Recine said. "By creating a big hair look, while still leaving some of the teasing visible, it allows the look to maintain a fresh, sexy feeling."

After seeing Noah's new look, fans couldn't believe it was actually the 24-year-old and not Miley Cyrus.

"I thought it was Miley for a minute!!!!" one fan expressed.

"Is this really Noah ?? Not Miley ??," said another.

A third pointed out the similarities between Noah and her mom. "She’s definitely Tish’s daughter, omg," they said.

The rift between Tish Cyrus and Noah originated from Tish’s relationship with Dominic Purcell. It’s said that Tish began seeing Purcell despite being aware of his prior involvement with Noah, leading to tension between mother and daughter.

"The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her," a source alleged, claiming the situation left Noah distraught and feeling betrayed by her mother.

“When the whole Tish and Dominic situation unfolded, Noah was extremely distraught,” the source added. “Although Noah’s relationship with Dominic wasn’t extremely serious, it still felt like a betrayal in her eyes.”
