The fiery-tempered culinary legend revealed details of the harrowing experience that left him feeling more like a patient than a chef.

In a recent interview, Ramsay recounted that while speeding down a hill, his front wheel slammed into a massive pothole, causing him to lose control and spin 180 degrees before being thrown into the air.

Ramsay admitted that his first instinct was to fix his bike's chain and keep going, but he soon realized the gravity of the situation when he attempted to adjust his helmet and discovered it had completely split in two.

In the chaotic aftermath, Ramsay managed to reach his assistant, who rushed him to the hospital in an ambulance. Miraculously, he avoided serious fractures, as CT scans showed no broken bones—a stroke of luck Ramsay attributes to his "hardy Scottish bones."

Despite escaping severe injury, the 57-year-old has since been undergoing daily lymphatic drainage massages and physical therapy to reduce the swelling from the crash.

In his typically candid manner, Ramsay shared the embarrassing aftermath of the ordeal, admitting to Men's Health that, for a time, he was so debilitated that his assistant had to help him dress each morning.
