Reesa Teesa Started From The Beginning...
Johnson started from the beginning in part one of her series and continued to tell her story in videos that followed. She explained that she met "Legion" (she changed his name for her story) in early March 2020 on not one but two dating apps.
"I did not realize that he was on both under two different names. So one was his actual name, and the other one was a variation, like a nickname that he called himself," she said. "Different pictures. So it was a running joke between us, oh you didn't even recognize that you had matched with me on Hinge. No, I didn't."
She admits that should have been a red flag. She calls it the "United Nations of Red Flags" because there were so many red flags that "you would have thought I was color blind cause I ignored all of them."
After The 50-Part Series, Reesa Teesa Shared A Painful Detail She Left Out
While the 50-part video series was very detailed, Reesa Teesa left one painful detail out of her story. She opened up about it during an appearance on "The Tamron Hall Show."
"The one thing I did not put in there, I hit on it but I did not go in-depth, the part for me that I don’t talk about because I don’t want to be that vulnerable, I don’t want someone to make fun of, it is the fact that, once I discovered that no he’s not a regional manager, he’s not a VP of production or operations, he was just a regular employee, the dominoes started falling, and one of those dominoes was the realization that you did not have a business meeting when I had to go to the hospital. You simply were not there," she told Hall.
"So when I was texting you, and I was terrified, and texting you that I'm in pre-op at Northside Hospital and I'm so scared because I just don't know what's gonna happen, and David text me back, there came a moment where once I discovered all the lies, that I realized, you really left me hanging when I needed you the most. And on so many levels, I can honestly sit here and tell you that is the one thing that I struggle to forgive because it's already hard."
Johnson was referring to the time she suffered a miscarriage and ended up alone in the hospital.
"I take myself back to when I discovered there was no David," she continued. "So, you were pretending to be someone else, texting me when I was in pre-op telling you I’m scared, I love you, I text all this."
