Simone Biles continued to demonstrate her status as the G.O.A.T. at the 2024 Paris Olympics, shattering multiple records along the way.

At 27, she set 13 new records, solidifying her position as the most decorated American gymnast ever with a total of 11 medals. But that's not all--she joined an exclusive group of just 29 athletes who have earned over ten medals in their careers across both the Summer and Winter Games.

During her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Simone Biles revealed how she truly feels about being referred to as the "G.O.A.T."

The 27-year-old Olympian, who wore a brown pantsuit and her diamond-encrusted G.O.A.T. necklace, spoke about the superlative.

“I think it’s funny to play off, obviously all of my fans and people have embraced, loved, and supported me throughout my journey,” she told Fallon on Wednesday. “But also the haters, because there’s always the comments like, ‘Stop calling her the G.O.A.T. She’s not the G.O.A.T.’ So it’s like it makes people happy and then it just pisses people off.”

Biles added that "throughout gymnastics, as long as I’m inspiring the next generation and having fun and just making sure that it’s not all about winning," then she is doing her job. "But still putting a good foot forward even when it doesn’t go your way, I think that’s what I would want it to be,” she said.

Simone Biles' G.O.A.T. Necklace

Biles' diamond G.O.A.T. necklace, crafted by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, features 546 diamonds. She first debuted the accessory after winning gold in the all-around final at the Paris Olympics.

"At the end of the day, it is crazy that I'm in the conversation of greatest of all time athletes because I still think I'm Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, that loves to flip," she told People Magazine at the time.

Teammate Jordan Chiles presented the necklace to the star right after she won her second gold medal in the competition, and it was soon seen draped around her neck.

"And the haters hate it so I love that even more and it's just a special part of me that I have here, as well as in the village I have like a stuffed goat, just to get a reminder: 'You can go out there, you can do it, you've done it before, so let's go,'" the Olympian said.
