The drama between Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young intensifies just days before the season 8 premiere of Netflix's "Selling Sunset" series.
Young has been repeatedly slammed this week by her co-stars for allegedly spreading a "damaging" rumor about their fellow castmate Emma Hernan. Stause took the insult personally and called out the culprit in a new interview.
Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young are no strangers to butting heads on the real estate series; however, this may be the last straw for the TV personality.
Chrishell Stause Slams Nicole Young For Allegedly Spreading Lies For Clout
Stause recently sat down with Extra TV's Billy Bush for a candid interview about the ongoing drama with Young and Hernan. Their conversation, shared on YouTube, began with the host highlighting the post she shared on Instagram.
The 43-year-old shared a video of herself on her way to the interview on her Instagram Story, telling fans that she would defend Hernan's honor. When asked about it, Stause lamented Young's insistence on using them for fame.
"The only time she's ever made headlines is trying to take down me and now Emma. So, you know, she's trying to do the same playbook she did before," Stause claimed before bashing Netflix for encouraging Young's vices, saying:
"It's unfortunate that she was given the platform to do it again and Emma not be given the chance to defend herself because, as you will see now with the receipts that are coming out, it's so blatantly untrue."
Stause Says Fans Will See Proof Of Young's Alleged Lies
Stause doubled down on Hernan's innocence, claiming Young's lies would be exposed on the new season of "Selling Sunset." She claimed there was proof and receipts of her alleged crimes, noting:
"Even the person that this somehow started with, that Nicole, you know, names, is the first person to be like, 'Oh my God, that is not what I said, Nicole.'"
"You'll see all of this proof coming out; unfortunately, we have to wait until it airs to be able to post them," Stause explained, noting she wished Hernan was allowed to defend her image on the show.
The TV Personality May Leave The Show If Young Stays
Young's alleged lies about Hernan seem to be the last straw for Stause, who boldly declared she might not continue her contract with Netflix. When asked if she would make it an ultimatum that she would leave if Young stayed, the 43-year-old said:
"I will never work on a show with her again… After eight seasons and seeing someone systematically try to plot against several people... Why are we giving her more airtime?"
"The audience doesn't wanna see this or hear this. When somebody's just hungry for camera time and lies, the audience is over it," Stause stressed, noting Young could continue using unhinged tactics to stay relevant without her.
Inside The Drama Between Stause And Young
The "Selling Sunset" drama began as social media warfare, with Stause and fellow castmate Chelsea Lazkani bashing Young on their Instagram Stories. The duo called her out for allegedly spreading a "damaging" rumor about Hernan.
Their retorts began on August 31, with producers similarly catching heat for letting the alleged lies air. Stause and Lazkani deemed their actions "disgusting," with the former declaring:
"I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued."
"Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE," Stause warned fans, per PEOPLE.
Nicole Young Reacts To Chrishell Stause's Claims
Despite getting repeatedly bashed by her co-stars on social media, Young kept it cool and refused to engage in the heated banter. She broke her silence on September 2 in a series of Instagram Stories.
The Oppenheim Group agent shared a picture of her dog stretched out on a blanket alongside a crying laughing emoji. She added, "With all the outside drama this weekend, this has been the vibe at our house. #Unbothered."
Young doubled down on being unfazed by the drama with more pictures of her dogs and the message: "Truly unbothered. Life is good."
Fans will see the issues between Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young unfold when "Selling Sunset" premieres on Friday, September 6.
