It's been nearly a year since Becky Lynch has been on WWE television. The Lass Kicker's last appearance came on the May 11, 2020 episode of RAW where she announced her pregnancy. Lynch then relinquished the RAW Women's Championship to MITB winner Asuka.

Lynch and her fiancé Seth Rollins welcomed their daughter Roux in December. Although, Lynch is enjoying being a mom, the star is ready to make a return to the ring. If recent reports are any indication, Lynch could make her return very soon.

From Underdog To Champ

Lynch is the epitome of a true wrestling underdog story. Despite being a good wrestler, Lynch was often pushed to the side as WWE made Charlotte Flair the face of the women's division. But 2018 would be a huge turning point in Lynch's career.

At the SummerSlam PPV, fans cheered as Lynch attacked her former friend Charlotte, who had just stolen a championship opportunity from her. Although, WWE tried to make Lynch the heel in the storyline, their plans backfired due to the fans' support. Realizing their mistake, WWE quickly switched Lynch to a babyface.

Soon Lynch would adopt a new gimmick. Calling herself "The Man," she proved she was the toughest wrestler in the company. Lynch's popularity continued to grow and at WrestleMania 35 made history. Lynch, Flair, and Ronda Rousey became the first women to ever main event a WrestleMania PPV. At the end of the night, Becky had a lot to celebrate as she walked with the RAW and Smackdown Women's Championships.

Wrestling To Motherhood

Although, wrestling is her dream, there was even a bigger dream for Lynch. Being a mom. The 34-year-old explained having a family was a big goal for her. Originally, Lynch planned to start her motherhood journey after she retired from wrestling, but she changed her mind.

Lynch's fiancé Seth Rollins played a huge part in her decision to switch up her motherhood dream. The couple who became engaged in August 2019, both wanted a family. Lynch realized she didn't want to wait any longer. The couple began trying for a baby, and following WrestleMania 36, she discovered she was pregnant.

Lynch's last match took place at WrestleMania 36, where she defeated Shayna Baszler to retain the RAW Women's Championship. With WrestleMania 37 this weekend, rumors are swirling that Lynch could make an appearance. Recent reports suggest that Lynch is going to be making her return very soon. What better way for The Man to make a comeback than at WWE's biggest PPV. 

But Lynch isn't the only female star, who's gunning for a comeback. Her former adversary Ronda Rousey will be also be returning at some point. Rousey departed WWE in April 2019, but recently it's been reported she's training for a return to wrestling. Given Rousey and Lynch's history, a rematch between the two women is long overdue.

Plans For Lynch

According to the latest reports, WWE is working on a surprise appearance by Lynch for WrestleMania 37. News of Lynch's possible return has fans excited, and crafting their own ideas for her comeback. A majority of fans speculated on Lynch appearing in a segment with Bayley on the Ding Dong, Hello Show. 

But other fans want to see Lynch reclaim her top spot in the women's division by challenging for one of the championships. With Becky being a top WWE talent, finding the right story for her return is going to be a challenge. No matter what story they pick for her, fans will blow the roof off the arena when the Lass Kicker makes her return.
