Whitney Cummings knows a thing or two about making it in Hollywood and she’s taking time to educate the younger generation about the moves they should be making while they try and navigate their careers.
TikTok stars Josh Richards and Griffin Johnson were given the opportunity to pick the brain of the comedian during a dinner at one of West Hollywood’s hottest restaurants while celebrating the recently relaxed restrictions in Los Angeles as establishments started opening back up again during the COVID pandemic.
The Blast is told Griffin Johnson, Josh Richards and their manager Michael Gruen met up with Whitney Cummings this week at Craig’s in West Hollywood. The “2 Broke Girls” creator is longtime friends with Gruen and thought it would be a good opportunity to instill some wisdom into the rising superstar influencers of Johnson and Richards.
We’re told the dinner went great, and Cummings was offering up copious amounts of “motherly advice” while letting the guys know they could call her “anytime they have questions about Hollywood.”
The night ended in true Hollywood fashion, with a paparazzi crush outside of the popular eatery, as many of the photographers in town know that Craig’s is on the short-list of always being packed with celebs. As Richards and Johnson were getting mobbed by the cameras following dinner, Whitney Cummings got in on the action by whipping out her phone and putting the social influencers in the spotlight.
Hollywood lesson #1 boys – Turning the paparazzi attention away from yourself. Very pro-level move by Cummings.
