Dove Cameron Flies On Wire In 'Powerpuff Girls' Minidress

Dove Cameron is quite literally flying across wires in her candy-blue "Powerpuff Girls" minidress. The 25-year-old actress and singer, currently in the news for seeing her latest "LazyBaby" music track shoot up charts, has been filmed on the set of the action reboot, with footage showing the blonde getting active with co-stars Chloe Bennet and Yana Perrault. Dove, who has already made headlines for her flexible splits while training for the CW reboot, was all legs and fun here. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. "Powerpuff Girls," which is returning after more than 15 years as it once dominated the Cartoon Network, has hired itself total A-Listers, with "The Descendants" star Dove as part of the popular trio.
The video showed Dove and her co-stars outdoors, on grass, and all in matching pastel minidresses, with Chloe wearing pink, Yana in green, and Dove in blue. The sleeveless and belted dresses also came with '90s-style knee-high white socks, plus Dove with her blonde hair in bunches.

Dove, who was seen kiss-face pouting in the sunshine, was filmed zipping along a wire with remarkable ease – Dove has been training for the new series at celebrity-adored gym chain Dogpound, clocking over 1 million Instagram views for casually plopping herself into the splits.
The harness footage, also seeing Chloe and Yana giving the wire a go, also with crew galore, plus "Scrubs" star Donald Faison, who will play Professor Utonium, creator and paternal figure to the Powerpuff Girls.

Click here for the full footage – scroll for more photos. Dove has opened up on her new role. Speaking to Nylon, the Flawless Beauty face revealed barely being able to hold back on divulging she'd been cast.
"After I got cast, I had to wait a week before the news came out, which was an excruciating week because I'm such a fan of the cartoon. It was so hard not to talk about it," she said, adding: "I'm so excited to be in jeans and a little blue tank top and then levitate and zoom out of a window. Please." More photos after the video.

Dove, who moved to L.A. with her family to pursue her career and was already a "Liv & Maddie" star by the age of 17, continued: "Fighting monsters? But also specifically getting to play the Powerpuff Girls. I grew up without cable and I even knew what the Powerpuff Girls were. I'm a freak for them."
The upcoming release comes as Dove releases new music, with "LazyBaby" following the immense 2020 success of "We Belong," a song written about now-ex Thomas Doherty. Scroll for the sheer undies shot Dove deleted – but Instagram caught.
