Many know Kehlani as one of the best R&B artists in the game, as this has been the case for over five years now. Fans also know her for the individuals she's been in relationships with as well. In early 2019, she gave birth to a baby girl with her then-boyfriend, Javie Young-White. Later in the year, she began dating popular Los Angeles rapper, YG. Now, Kehlani appears to be single and has a very interesting update regarding her sexual orientation.
Kehlani Comes Out As Lesbian During IG Live Session
Recently on Instagram Live, Kehlani came out and officially revealed that she is a lesbian now. This is while she was in her kitchen with her friend cooking.
"Y'all think something's new about me, you wanna know? I finally know I'm a lesbian."
Her friend then excitingly added that this information is a "bomb drop." This was definitely a bomb drop for fans as well as Kehlani's last two relationships were with men. She did kiss Demi Lovato before, though.

Fans Support Kehlani Coming Out
This Instagram Live session continues to go viral after Kehlani's exciting announcement. Fans of hers also took to Twitter to voice their support for her in making this public move online. A lot of the reactions were "OMG!" and "Yes, Yes!" The LGBT community also added that they "always win" as a star such as Kehlani joining them is definitely evidence of that.

Kehlani Officially Broke Up With YG In Early 2020
YG and Kehlani were a couple that social media was into for a while until YG was seen kissing another woman in late 2019. The Compton native was seen doing this in a car outside of an LA nightclub. The woman was in the car and he lunged in for a kiss. His excuse was soon that he was so drunk at the time but took responsibility. In February 2020, it was revealed by Kehlani in her "Konclusions" song that the two were done for good as a couple.
Kehlani Released Her Sophomore Album Last Year
Kehlani also had a very big 2020 with her music. She put out her second studio album, "It Was Good Until It Wasn't," in May. That project did very well as it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was led by the "Can I" single featuring Tory Lanez but his verse ended up being removed by Kehlani after Tory was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion by Megan herself.
