Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her partner Ken Urker are set to welcome their first child together. The baby bombshell announcement came shortly after she filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson, the special education teacher she married while serving her sentence for second-degree murder.
As The Blast reported, Gypsy Rose had been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison in connection with her mother’s murder, following a background of alleged abuse. Gypsy's mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, allegedly subjected her to severe abuse and neglect, fabricating multiple illnesses and disabilities, including leukemia and muscular dystrophy. This led to Gypsy undergoing a series of medical treatments that were deemed unnecessary.
Despite her tumultuous past, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is ready to become a mom.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares New Baby Gift
After announcing her pregnancy, Cozy Crew Club sent the ex-convict a handful of baby clothes, slippers, and blankets as Gypsy gets ready to give birth to her baby girl.
"Thank you Cozy Crew Club," she wrote over a snap of her gift, which she shared on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
Three of the items feature the words "Baby Urker" in elegant script, while the remaining pieces showcase a charming bear-themed design.

As she gets ready for motherhood, the 33-year-old had set up a baby registry, though she quickly took it down.
Before the deletion, The Blast discovered that Gypsy Rose Blanchard had added several high-end items to her wish list, despite her $3M net worth.
Her registry included a $600 Chicco Modular Travel System, a $529 Sorelle Princeton Elite Panel Crib and Changer, two $300 bassinets, a $320 monitor, a $250 rocking chair, and a $215 diaper bag.
Gypsy Rose Talks Pregnancy
In July, when Gypsy announced she was expecting her first child with Ken, the 33-year-old told her fans, "You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself."
"When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the few between creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded," Gypsy added. "It didn't matter anymore. All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."
The ex-convict admitted, "It's not about anything other than the tiny little life inside you. That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little."
Gypsy Rose Reflects On Her Childhood
Soon after revealing her pregnancy, Gypsy shared her plans to use her past experiences as a way to pave the way for raising her new baby.
"All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby," she told People Magazine. "My mother told me I was never going to get married, raise a family, have kids or do any of that. So, to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that's something I've reached as an achievement and a personal goal. I thank God every day that I am now having this second chance at life with a kid of my own."
She added, "The way my mother parented me is definitely not the way I'm going to be. We always say for the next generation, we want to be better than we were raised. And so, for me, I think that couldn't be any more truthful.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Divorce From Ryan Anderson
Gypsy Rose Blanchard's pregnancy is a bit more complicated than one may think as she is currently going through a divorce from her estranged husband Ryan Anderson.
During a TikTok livestream on August 10, the 38-year-old special education teacher informed his followers that he will be taking a DNA test to establish paternity, as Gypsy's pregnancy coincided with their legal marriage under Louisiana law.
“I have to take a DNA test for court,” he said. “The way the timeline matches up — I don't think it's mine, but I don't know. The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don't know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions."
Ryan and Gypsy have since decided to wait to take the DNA test until after the baby is born.
