According to new reports, sources with direct knowledge about Garcia and Chigvintsev claimed the former WWE Diva wants to divorce her husband. They shared that she started making calls searching for a legal representative.

Garcia allegedly began hunting for a divorce lawyer a day after the "Dancing with the Stars" alum's arrest. She seemingly showcased her intentions to end their marriage by ditching her wedding ring following the incident.

She recently hosted the Chestnut/Kobayashi hot dog eating contest in Las Vegas without the diamond gem on her finger. However, Garcia wasn't the only one fueling the split rumors, as insiders shared that Chigvintsev had moved out.

Informants told TMZ the couple no longer shared the same roof, and Chigvintsev was bunking down at a friend's house. Meanwhile, Garcia remained intheir home with their 4-year-old son Matteo.

The drama between Garcia and Chigvintsev began on Thursday, August 29, with The Blast reporting the professional dancer was arrested. Authorities booked him on suspicion of domestic violence following a concerning 911 call.

The released audio revealed that Chigvintsev had called for medical assistance before claiming Garcia had attacked him. "Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife, and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party]," the dispatcher noted.

"There is a child on scene. Medical en route," the dispatcher continued, seemingly referring to the estranged couple's son."There's an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible."

Although Chigvintsev eventually canceled his request for medical assistance, authorities still showed up at his house to check the situation. They allegedly found visible injuries on the alleged victim, leading to the dancer's arrest on charges of felony corporal injury to a spouse.

While the victim asked to keep their identity private, the term "spouse" suggested the person in question was Garcia. After posting bail that day,Chigvintsev was released around 2:15 p.m. PT, and authorities noted he was "cooperative in the process."

After news of the incident surfaced, the Napa County Sheriff's Department released Chigvintsev's mugshot. At the same time, Garcia seemed to put the drama behind her by boarding a private plane with a female friend.

The former professional wrestler was photographed smiling, noticeably without her wedding ring, as she boarded the plane. However, many found her radiant expression offensive, given Chigvintsev's arrest, vehemently bashed her on social media.

Garcia's happy picture sparked numerous complaints, with one social media user pointing out that she looked too joyful for someone whose husband was arrested on a domestic violence charge. "Why is she smiling?" the individual wondered.

Another critic slammed Garcia as the problem in her marriage to Chigvintsev, claiming, "SHE WAS THE AGGRESSIVE ONE. No injuries on her? She is a drunk."

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old's fans defended her and implored critics to leave her alone. One wrote: "Domestic violence is nothing to make fun of. Something serious happened, and they have a child. Hopefully, she's OK and will get help to move forward."

Three days before the domestic violence incident, Garcia and Chigvintsev marked their second wedding anniversary. The Blast shared that the former WWE superstar celebrated the occasion on Instagram with a reel of the duo's romantic moments.

She partly captioned the video with the lyrics to Haley Reinhart's rendition of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" hit song, alongside her love for Chigvintsev. Garcia wrote:

"This song is our love story. I'll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Having a conversation with He & God. How my feelings felt too soon. It all felt too fast."

"And then this song came on. And that's when I knew that I was falling in love with him and that it was all meant to be," Garcia claimed, signing off by wishing Chigvintsev a happy anniversary.
