Cartwright reportedly listed January 24, 2024, as the official date of their separation despite publicly announcing their breakup in February. The former couple, who share a 3-year-old son named Cruz, appear to be headed toward a co-parenting arrangement. 

Cartwright is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their child but has made it clear that Taylor is free to visit Cruz anytime. Additionally, she requested that the court deny spousal support for both parties, indicating a clean break from the former "Vanderpump Rules" star.

The mother-of-one's decision to end her five-year marriage coincided with Taylor's recent departure from an inpatient treatment center. The father-of-one had gone there to seek help for mental health issues following their separation.
