Lisa Vanderpump's Los Angeles restaurant, TomTom, is said to reopen its doors after more than a year in the coming weeks.

Following the opening of her other venues, including SUR Restaurant and Pump Lounge, earlier this year,The Sun has revealed that TomTom, which Vanderpump co-owns with Ken Todd, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz, will be back open to guests by May 1.

"We are definitely opening May 1st. Most likely way before," the bar's manager, Richardson Cherry, confirmed on April 7.

And while Vanderpump is known to be quite the glamorous businesswoman, she didn't hesitate to help Cherry and other members of their staff get it done.

"I met with Both Ken and Lisa. Even Lisa was cleaning! I love how she participates in everything," Cherry noted.

Although Cherry and his co-workers at TomTom were out of work for some time, Todd did his best to keep them busy ahead of the upcoming re-opening of their restaurant.

“[Ken] has been trying to find other areas in his businesses to find work for [staffers], so we can start working again," Cherry explained.

As for what guests can expect once TomTom's doors are re-opened, Cherry said that there will be “stronger, tastier new drinks,” as well as a facelift of the restaurant.

"Now our patio is going to be amazing really, before it was a bit small, but now it’s going to get a makeover, I’m excited about it," Cherry teased, adding that he will be "meeting with all of the staff on Thursday" and "hiring" some additional employees to help run the restaurant.

Last month, during a separate interview with The Sun, Cherry opened up about the precautions taken by him and his team.

“It’s more so about being safe than profit," he confirmed.

"Profit matters but if everyone is sick it’s not good. When we can accommodate more people it will be easier as the inside of TomTom is not super huge," he continued.  "None of us knew what was going to happen with Covid so none of us knew when we would open so we waited until the state said it was okay. But Lisa and everyone is taking Covid precautions very seriously."

Now that nearly all of Vanderpump's restaurants have re-opened, fans are waiting on the edge of their seats for a new season of "Vanderpump Rules."

Unfortunately, with a ninth season of the reality series yet to be confirmed, it's hard to say when production will begin.
