Let's Make Affogato With Jersey's Own Julia Molinari!

While she's known for saying, "Let's make a pizza," Jersey's own Julia Molinari will sometimes share other authentic Italian recipes on social media.

The popular TikTok content creator recently went viral for her video sharing how she makes affogato, a simple combination of hot espresso and cold gelato, with her own little twist to it.

While the viral cooking sensation is known for her amazing, and oftentimes unique pizza recipes, the Jersey girl sometimes shares other Italian dishes and desserts with her 2.4 million followers. In a recent TikTok video, Molinari shares how she makes affogato, an Italian espresso delicacy.

"I've had a long day and I need a sweet treat. Affogato," she said. "We are gonna make our own whipped cream, 'cause that's how we do it around here."

She then showed how she makes her homemade whipped cream before making her espresso (not expresso, she reminded everyone).

After brewing a cup of espresso, Molinari got some vanilla bean gelato. She added the two scoops of gelato to her glass before adding her piping hot espresso.

"I'm gonna put a little whipped cream on mine 'cause I feel like it," she said. "This may be untraditional, but I really wanna put shaved chocolate on top. That looks so pretty. Sweet treat. Let's give it a taste."

She then explained that her sweet treat was only three steps.

"This is class, this is demure," she said. "This is, I'm wealthy and I want dessert."

Molinari's video quickly went viral with more than 1 million views and 1,200 comments.

Molinari recently strayed from her usual cooking demonstration videos to share some hair confusion for clarity.

"What do you mean it's hair wash day? What do you mean day four hair? What?" she asked perplexed. "You don't wash your hair every single day?"

After explaining that her hair looks like a "grease trap" after one shift at her family's restaurant, she asked, "Why do you have to train your hair?"

"Why do you have to train your hair by not washing it if you can just wash it every day?" she continued. "My hair looks fine. I wash my hair every day."

She explained that she's not "dissing" anyone, but rather is just genuinely curious. Molinari also revealed that she's "really bad at hair" because she doesn't "know how."

The viral TikToker then demonstrated how she braids her hair. Many viewers jumped into the comment to share some insight and advice.

"Don't wash your hair every day, it takes the natural oils out of it. 3 to 4 times a week," one person wrote. Another added, "Depends on the person I have extremely dry skin so my hair doesn’t get oily till like day 3-4."

When she's not at her family's restaurant working and filming TikTok cooking demos, Molinari can often be found on the beach. She shares bikini and summer dress shots on her Instagram page.

Molinari seems to love the sand, sun, and water and shares those photos on Instagram with simple captions that her followers love.

Comments are typically, "My endless love," "Pure beauty," "simply stunning," among other similar thoughts.

In another Instagram post, Molinari shared a carousel of beachy bikini snaps simply captioned, "need beach."

The photos she shared reflected her happiness about being on the beach wearing a bikini. Some of her 1.4 million Instagram followers commented on how much they love the photos.

"Beautiful girl," one person wrote. Another added, "Beautiful smile." There were also tons of heart and fire emojis left for Molinari in the comments.
