Britney Spears has been busting it out on the treadmill from her home gym over Easter and delivering a major twist on the “It’s Britney b-tch” phrase she made her own. The 39-year-old princess of pop featured on 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari‘s Instagram over Easter weekend, with the upbeat video bringing the “Toxic” singer’s famous legs in tiny plaid shorts, plus a revisit of the phrase made iconic by the singer’s 2007 “Gimme More” track. Check out the couples gym action below.
Scroll for the video. It comes as Spears continues to front media outlets over finally breaking her silence on the Hulu-streamed “Framing Britney Spears” documentary, with the blonde saying she felt “embarrassed” by it, also revealing she “cried for two weeks.”
All smiles and from her L.A. home, the bombshell was filmed by personal trainer boyfriend Sam, with the footage showing Britney looking fighting fit as she walked fast on a treadmill in her trademark tiny shorts, plus a skimpy crimson-pink crop top.
Britney, who kicked off with both feet either side of the treadmill before working up a sweat and actually using the equipment, was upbeat grinning and waving, with Sam saying: “Who’s this girl?”
And yes, the Grammy winner delivered her phrase. “It’s me b-tch! Happy Easter” Spears said as she kept walking, with Iranian Sam then flaunting one bulging bicep as he said: “Happy egg hunting.” A caption read: “Happy egg hunting! Starting the day with a great workout @britneyspears.” See more photos after the video!
Britney’s fans, now forming the #FreeBritney army, aren’t an easy crowd, but they did seem to feel that the mom of two was finally looking happy. “Lol Britney looks happy!! Thanks for sharing,” one replied, with others sending the star the best. Britney continues to battle 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears in her 2008-commenced conservatorship case. She is, however, now more in the news for her shock reveal over the documentary.
“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes,” the singer wrote. More photos below.
Meanwhile, a source reporting to Us Weekly has been suggesting Spears is facing a “nightmare” over 14 and 15-year-old sons Sean and Jayden watching the docu.
“It’s turned into a nightmare for her because she can’t imagine what her kids are going to think now, and it’s certainly triggered some emotions from her past. She’s a major pop star, but she’s still a human being who is super sensitive and, sadly, is really affected by the public’s opinion about her.”
