Leah Remini has closed two chapters in her life—her luxurious home and her over-two-decade marriage to Angelo Pagán.
A month before announcing her divorce, the "Kevin Can Wait" actress found a buyer for her longtime Los Angeles mansion. Real estate records revealed she sold the property for less than her original price.
Leah Remini placed her home for sale in 2023, a move that does not appear to be related to her split from Angelo Pagán. The former couple were together for 28 years and share a daughter.
Leah Remini Sold Her Los Angeles Home For Seven Figures
According to real estate records, Remini's L.A. home was placed on the market for $12,499,000 in 2023. However, she failed to attract buyers and slashed the price to $11,999,000 then $10,500,000.
Two price slashes weren't enough to find a new owner for the mansion, and Remini was forced to go even lower than her original price. Someone eventually hopped on the deal, scoring the lavish home for $9,300,000 on July 1.
The price was a good deal for the new owner, given that Remini's longtime home sat on 1.5 acres of "meticulously manicured grounds." The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion was also in Studio City, a neighborhood full of A-listers.
In Touch reported that Remini purchased the home in 2003 for $3,750,000 and enjoyed the company of famous neighbors like George and Amal Clooney, Lucy Liu, and Bruno Mars. The sale comes at the heels of her divorce from Pagán.

While most Hollywood couples cite "irreconcilable differences" as their reason for divorce, Remini and Pagán stressed that they had grown from the people they were when they first met. In their words:
"So, the big question—why? To put it simply, we both changed, as people do, and we got used to playing roles that didn't fit us anymore."
"After a lot of effort and consideration, we've decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today. Our bond is still strong—it's just evolved into something different," the former couple explained, adding:
"We think a marriage that lasted this long and created so many beautiful memories, especially raising our incredible daughter, is something to celebrate."

The former couple declared the end was just the beginning, writing, "From our perspective, this marriage was a huge success. And now, we're looking forward to creating even more cherished moments—just in a different way."
Remini and Pagán noted they were being transparent about their divorce because they had shared their marriage publicly through reality TV shows. They hoped their honesty could also inspire others in similar situations.
"We hope our journey can inspire others to see that relationships-whether they change or end-aren't failures. We'll keep sharing snippets of our lives as we navigate this new chapter," the former couple concluded, signing off with their love.
Inside Leah Remini And Angelo Pagán Relationship
Remini and Pagán first met in 1996 when he performed at El Floridita, a Cuban club and restaurant in Los Angeles. She described their meeting as "love at first sight," noting she couldn't help but hit on him.
Thanks to her boldness, the pair enjoyed a blissful relationship for years, with Pagán proposing at an L.A. restaurant on Christmas Eve in 2002. The duo wed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas on July 19, 2003.
They welcomed their daughter, Sofia Bella, on June 16, 2004. While the girl marked their first child together, PEOPLE shared that Pagán has three sons from a previous relationship.
Given Leah Remini and Angelo Pagán's amicable split, typical issues like child custody and spousal support may not be problematic for them.
