Tamra Judge is on the hunt for a new home after selling her former home in Coto De Caza over one year ago.
While appearing on the April 3 episode of Jeff Lewis' SiriusXM radio show, "Jeff Lewis Live," the former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star admitted to having regrets about unloading the property on a whim before sharing what she and her husband, Eddie Judge, are looking for as they search for their potential new place in Dana Point, California.
Tamra Judge Believes She And Eddie Judge Could Have Made More On The Home
“I kind of wish we would have kept it because at the time, we had bought over what the house was appraised for but it was done and we didn’t have to do anything to it and that, to me, is value. We sold it for $250,000 what we paid less than a year and a half later. We probably could have gotten another $200,000,” Judge explained to Lewis.
When Lewis then suspected that Judge was likely itching to take on another renovation project, Judge confirmed that was the case.
Tamra Judge's Youngest Daughter Is Keeping Them In Orange County
"I want to buy a second house. I’m getting to that age where retirement is not too far away and I want to set myself up," she shared.
According to Judge, she and husband Eddie would like to go a great distance from where they are now but because Judge's youngest daughter, Sophia Barney, is still in school, they have to stay somewhat nearby until she graduates.
"We’re a little limited because of Sophia. But she’s going to be 16 in six months so she can drive her own little butt to school. So that’s a plus," Judge explained.
Tamra Judge Would Love To Find A Home In Dana Point
"I would like to move to Dana Point but the inventory is very low right now," Judge said of her ideal home.
Judge then said that because of the inventory being low, she and Eddie would likely have to rent for some time.
"If we sold our house, we’d have to rent. She loves the house we’re in. The house we’re in has the best energy. It always has. I even had a reiki girl come in and she’s like, ‘The energy in this house is so amazing. Never leave and never let Kelly Dodd come in,'” she joked.
Tamra Judge Knows She Won't Get Much Land In Dana Point
Although Judge would like some land, specifically an entertaining space in her backyard, she knows that will be hard to find in Dana Point.
"It’s hard to find. And if you do, you’re going to pay. If you go to Coto, then you can get more property. But, we don’t want a big… Our last house was over 5,000 square feet and there was literally seven rooms we didn’t even go into," Judge explained.
Judge appeared on "RHOC" for 12 seasons before leaving the show in January 2020.
