Ariel Winter looked cute and sexy for her dinner date in L.A., but photos of the 26-year-old in her beyond-tiny minidress only sparked a wave of shaming in 2017. Heading out to the celebrity-adored Catch L.A. restaurant that May, Ariel celebrated her six-month anniversary with then-boyfriend Levi Meaden, but it wasn't her relationship getting fans talking in the comments. When The Daily Mail published photos of Ariel in her dangerously low-cut minidress, fans body-shamed her, telling to find clothes that fit and even calling the dress "too short."

Flashing her shapely waistline and legs, the Modern Family alum went thigh-skimming in her racy dress, one boasting a chic collar detailing that further drew the eye to her very exposed chest.

Teetering around in strappy heels as she sent out party vibes, Ariel showed off a red pedicure to match her manicure, adding even more club energy from sparkly diamante strapping on her shoes.

Wearing hoop earrings and a full face of makeup complete with thick lashes, Ariel showed off her girly side as she dolled herself up, with photos showing her accompanied by former beau Luke. At the time of the photos, Ariel Winter was 19 years old.

The comments didn't hold back. "She never dresses her age and too much makeup," one fan said, with another saying that the lashes were way too much. Others, however, focused on the actress' shape. One fan gained likes for calling Ariel "chubby" as they asked: "Doesn't have the body to pull off the clothes that she wears?" Another even went as far as calling the TV star "fat."

Also shaming Ariel was a user replying: "Oh it's the plus size Kylie Jenner wannabe. Where's her neck gone?" The photos came two years before Ariel made headlines for losing 30 pounds. Amid the cruel replies, some did back the actress up, though.

"I can not believe the number of nasty, rude, comments about the girl. She's 19. Maybe she needs some advise or a good friend. She overdid a bit on the makeup and the attire on a night out with her BF. So what? None of you ever made a bad call when you were young?" one fan asked.

Ariel and Levi split in 2019 after three years of dating. The former ABC actress swiftly moved on with boyfriend Luke Benward, whom she has been with since January 2020. In 2022, the couple made headlines for leaving Hollywood for a more low-key life.
