Gwen Stefani Reveals Upcoming Collaboration With Saweetie

Gwen Stefani is regarded as one of the most popular pop artists since the early 2000s and is still a fan-favorite. Last month, she released a new single in "Slow Clap." This record received a lot of positive reviews by fans on social media and now, a new single is already on the way that has a lot of people excited. This is a collaboration with Saweetie, an artist who is also establishing herself as a star. 

Saweetie will be appearing on Gwen's "Slow Clap" remix as the reaction for this record continues to grow positively.  She took to her social media feeds on Sunday night to give fans the big announcement that it will arrive on April 9. Gwen says that it's Slow Clap "with a little bit of extra sauce." With the momentum that both artists have had lately with their respective careers, many expect the Slow Clap remix to possibly be a top five record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

With the release of "Slow Clap" and the remix featuring Saweetie coming soon, there is more good news coming for fans of Gwen. She is expected to release her solo fifth studio album, "Let Me Introduce Myself." As of now, there is still no official release date. For now though, the anticipation for this project is definitely on as Slow Clap has been embraced by fans and the collab will Saweetie is expected to be hot as well.

Gwen has also released a self-titled "Let Me Introduce Myself" single at the end of 2020. When the forthcoming album finally arrives, it will be her first album since back in 2017. This was her "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" project. This album debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by the singles "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" featuring Blake Shelton and "Santa Baby." 12 tracks were included in total and the deluxe edition increased that to 17.

Last month, Saweetie revealed that she is officially a single woman as she took to Twitter. She says she and Migos rapper, Quavo, broke up. She explained how she felt hurt and betrayed. Saweetie was also allegedly cheated on by Quavo. Quavo then tried to defend himself by saying Saweetie wasn't the woman he thought she was. Footage also leaked last week of the two in a physical altercation in an elevator in North Hollywood, CA, last year. The two have since said they moved past that but the relationship didn't work out in the end due to other obstacles. Quavo also said to PEOPLEthat he never abused Saweetie.
