Alexis Bellino Shows Off Her Massive Ring In John Janssen Engagement Announcement

Alexis Bellino is heading down the marriage route for the fourth time with her new beau, John Janssen.

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star recently shared the big news on Instagram, revealing that her partner proposed romantically on their nine-month anniversary.

Alexis Bellino proudly flaunted the massive diamond ring he proposed with, excited to take the next step with John Janssen. The Bravolebrity has been married twice and was previously engaged before meeting her new fiancé.

Bellino broke the engagement news on her Instagram page days after flaunting pictures from her romantic getaway to the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California. She noted that Janssen surprised her with the trip, unaware of his other plans.

The reality TV star didn't share how the proposal went down but showcased the results with a heartwarming picture on Wednesday, August 28. The snap captured the couple smiling brightly at each other, with Bellino's new diamond gem on display.

Janssen certainly splurged on the jewelry, as the cushion-cut ring caught the eye with its large size and beauty. "On Cloud 9. Celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you," Bellino captioned the post, adding:

"Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we're building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes."

A rep from the newly engaged couple confirmed the news, telling PEOPLE, "John & Alexis are happily engaged and look forward to their long future together as husband and wife."

Bellino's engagement comes weeks after Janssen raved about her on the "Reality with The King" podcast. "I tell her she's perfect all the time, and she is perfect for me," he began, adding:

"She is confident. She is, and that's an overused phrase, but she is absolutely as beautiful on the inside as on the outside, and she brings out the best in me."

"I've never ever felt truly loved until Alexis, and I've never felt more loved," Janssen claimed, describing Bellino as his "true partner in life." Their relationship signaled a new beginning for them after leaving their respective partners.

The newly engaged couple had both come out of long-term relationships when they launched their romance. In September 2023, Bellino ended her engagement to Andy Bohn in September 2023 while Janssen separated from her "RHOC" co-star, Shannon Beador.

Bellino and Janssen reportedly started dating in early December, shortly after meeting on November 18 during a run-in with mutual friends at Orange County eatery The Quiet Woman. An insider claimed the pair's past helped deepen their bond, saying:

"The two have been supportive companions as they navigate newly single life. This common background paired with a mutual attraction has made it easy for Alexis and John to form a natural connection."

Bellino echoed similar sentiments about their instantaneous connection on "RHOC," confessing: "We tried to fight the feelings. After week two, John and I knew that was it." Unfortunately, not everyone saw the pair's union as a good thing.

Since Bellino and Janssen's relationship debut, some Housewives have criticized their romance because of the triangle with Beador. The Blast shared that things between the "RHOC" co-stars got heated in their meeting on the show's season 18.

"I've been upset that you were involved in the lawsuit where your husband sued me and, as a single mom, I don't want to tear up, but for three years, I went through such emotional and financial difficulties," Beador told her co-star, referencing her ex-husband Jim Bellino's 2018 defamation lawsuit.

Beador stressed that she could tolerate Bellino's existence for the show, but she wasn't interested in being friends. The latter clapped back with a similar stance, saying:

"I'm not asking to be best buddies. I know this is uncomfortable for both of us when you're the ex, and I'm the new."

Bellino believed Beador's animosity stemmed from her past with Janssen. She stressed that she had nothing to do with her ex-husband's defamation lawsuit and advised her co-star to move on, saying:

"I think what the real issue is here is that I have your ex-boyfriend. Guess what? Move on. We're moving forward with our relationship."

Bellino got up to leave but not before Beador threw another jab at her, yelling: "You know what, take John Janssen, and I thank you for taking him from me!" Her words sparked a painful reminder from her co-star, who replied: "And I'm thankful that he left you."
