Hailey Baldwin Reveals How Her Beau Helped Her Through Cyberbullying

It’s quite often to see social media users bullying or being bullied on the internet. The internet is a place where people share their personal thoughts freely even when those thoughts are hurtful to others.

Celebrities however are not immune to this form of bullying, as they are always in the spotlight no matter what they do and will be scrutinized even when they do not ask for it.

This is why some famous personalities like to keep their romance private. However, when it comes to Justin Bieber or anything relating to that, best believe it's all in the public's face.

The relationship which the popular Canadian singer and songwriter Justin Bieber shares with social media influencer and model Hailey Baldwin is no new news.

The two dated for a while in the past and got married in 2018, to the dismay of some and delight of others.

After the beautiful wedding announcement on social media, users resulted into verbal backlashes at the couple, especially Baldwin.

This cyberbullying happened because some fans believed that Bieber was only meant to be with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez and Baldwin was intruding.

“Jelena” was the nickname given to the then couple Gomez and Bieber by their fans. This relationship still registers as one of the most complicated ones in the history of  Hollywood.

The now ex-lovers wrote songs about each other, including hits like Bieber’s “Sorry,” “Love Yourself.” Gomez on the other hand, wrote about him the singer after their breakup but never admitted it.

They had an off and on sort of relationship for years, which often put their fan-base in a confused state.

However, they finally called it quits for the last time, sinking the “Jelena Ship.”

Following her wedding to Bieber, Baldwin received a huge amount of backlash and hate comments from social media users. She also reportedly received life threatening messages from very furious fans.

A fan attempted to encourage her fellow fans to attack Hailey until she breaks down.

Seeing what his wife had to go through, Bieber came to her defense on social media, calling the acts offensive and unfair. He also directed a reply at an unrelenting fan.

In the same vein, Gomez posted a video on Instagram, saying that no one deserved to be bullied for anything as the world needs more love and less hate.

Recently, Baldwin started a personal YouTube channel, where she discusses several topics including her mental health. In a recent upload, she spoke on how Bieber helped her all through the cyberbullying.

“My husband’s helped me so much with it. I really give him the credit because he’s been doing this so much longer at this really massive level,” she said.

She went on to say; “ I think I have gone through a phase where I was like ‘I get it. I do not want to hear it, and then I do it and he is like, ‘I told you. Life’s way better this way.’ And he was so right.”

They are one lovely couple, and we wish them all the best.
