Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney is hanging around in a leotard and delivering mind-blowing handstand action to help fight distracted drivers. The 25-year-old vault queen today unveiled she's the new celebrity face of vehicle insurance company GEICO, with her 1.3 million Instagram followers getting an awesome video, one reminding fans to switch to do not disturb mode when behind the wheel. The London 2012 Olympics face, however, took under an hour to see fans joking that they almost "crashed" watching the video. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. It comes as Maroney makes major headlines following her February E.R. visit, with the gymnast now recovering following March surgery for kidney stones.
All smiles and with no mentions of her medical dramas, McKayla updated her Instagram on Friday with an outdoor lawn video, one bringing plenty of flexibility, plus a reminder of how to use your phone safely when hitting the road. "McKayla Maroney here," the gymnast said as she stood in a tight blue leotard.

Shot in front of a pretty ordinary house, the brunette added: "To remind you to put your phone on do not disturb while in driving mode. What do you think? You're gonna miss a text from me offering to teach you to do this?" A perfect handstand was then delivered, with Maroney seen flipping her legs into an easy upside-down split.
"Nope," she added. Fans were then told to switch on do not disturb while driving mode "because McKayla Maroney is not trying to text you." See the reactions after the video.

A caption from Maroney read: "Need help remembering not to drive distracted? Let me give you a hand-stand @geico."
Instagram is loving it. "So if I'm not driving am I getting the text?" one fan asked, with another writing: "Text me please." For one user, it was all a little much as they wrote: "Almost crashed watching this." The commercial was also deemed a "perfect 10" by one fan. It adds to the headlines former Olympic gymnasts are making as they get snapped up by brands. More photos below.

If you don't live inside the world of professional gymnastics, it's a lucrative one. 31-year-old former Olympian Nastia Liukin made March headlines for fronting Pottery Barn, this in the wake of her Facebook App and Olay skincare promos. 2016 Olympics face Aly Raisman, who fronts both Amazon and Silk Milk, is also a collaborator with sportswear brand Aerie, with superstar Simone Biles the face of both SK-II skincare and food delivery chain Uber Eats.
