On Sunday, August 25, Dorfman shared an Instagram video revealing the sex of her baby. In the clip, the reality television star polled her family members to guess whether she was expecting a boy or a girl.
The family was evenly divided in their guesses, with Dorfman and Hart each choosing different sexes. "I'm your mom, and I honestly have no idea what you are, so I'm just going to go with Team Girl," Dorfman said in the video.
And it turns out, moms might just have a sixth sense—because Baby Hart is a girl! With pink smoke bombs lighting up the beachfront, the family celebrated as they prepared to welcome Baby Girl Hart into their lives.

Dorfman and Hart went Instagram official in December 2021, but their story goes way back—they first met 15 years earlier in college.
In a March 2023 interview with Us Weekly, the "Bachelorette" alum revealed that she always felt Hart was “The One.”
“I didn’t ever think he wasn’t The One. I don’t remember having that moment where I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, this is the man I’m gonna marry.’ We weren’t ever not together," she added. "And we never had a bad time and it just built up into what we have now.”
The couple announced their engagement in March 2022 and tied the knot in Italy in May 2023.
'The Bachelorette' Alum Freezes Her Eggs
Dorfman previously opened up about how freezing her eggs before turning 30 significantly eased the pressure of marrying and starting a family by a specific age.
“I have zero regrets about freezing my eggs,” she told E! News in March 2023. “I’m actually super happy I did it because I think in hindsight — even though I didn’t feel it at the time — I look back and I know that it kept me from settling.”
She also revealed that the process allowed her to focus on her personal and professional growth without the constant stress of a ticking biological clock.
Reflecting On Single Life
Dorfman first joined Bachelor Nation when she appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis’ "The Bachelor" season in 2014. Later that year, she took on the role of "The Bachelorette" and ultimately got engaged to Josh Murray. However, their engagement ended in 2015.
"You get to control your own happiness, and it's OK to be happy," she told E! of being single in her 30s. "You don't have to look at society and say, 'Oh gosh, I'm 34 and single. Should I not be happy?' And that picture to me summed that all up. I was like, 'I didn't feel bad about being single. I actually felt great and empowered.'"
"I lived that life of being single, and don't get me wrong, it's not always easy," she continued. "There are times when you're single at a wedding and you feel bad. But that's OK for yourself to feel bad. Don't make anyone else feel bad for you or at you."
"Just do you, just be happy. Like, that in itself is a hard enough task to make yourself happy," the reality television star added. "So, don't worry about what society deems as happiness—especially when it comes to your relationship status."
