Three years ago, Hyland teamed up with Olay as an ambassador for the brand's Collagen Peptide24 collection.

“I love to partner with brands that give back and do good for the world, and Olay gives millions of dollars to help close the gender gap in STEM, which is very important to me,” she told Glamour in 2021. “The new collection is great because it has the highest concentration of peptides in Olay’s products. Firm, wrinkle-free, even skin texture are all big concerns of mine, so it takes care of all of that.”

Sarah Hyland had some fun with her fans on Sunday, sharing a candid moment of self-care on Instagram Stories.

Posing with a face mask, she playfully captioned the photo, “Michael Myers, but make it skincare.” The actress brought a touch of Halloween-inspired humor to her skincare routine, adding that she is "so ready for fall."

The "Modern Family" actress previously spoke about how important it is to moisturize. "Always moisturize, every morning, every night," she told Glamour. "That’s why the Collagen Peptide24 moisturizer is my favorite. And hydration. I drink almost a gallon if not a full gallon of water a day."

Sarah Hyland Talks About Self-Care

The 33-year-old is also a huge advocate for self-care, telling Glamour that her favorite way to take a moment to herself is "by making sure I have a good skin-care regimen every day."

"Skincare maybe isn't the ultimate act of self-love, but I do think it's a major act of love for yourself," she told the outlet in 2021. "You are literally putting moisture into your body by moisturizing your face. I think that when you set that time aside, be it two minutes or 20 minutes, it’s a way to focus on yourself and your body. You get to be alone with your thoughts and think things over, or say your gratitudes to yourself in the mirror."

Hyland also takes Sourse’s Mood Bites because they "really help calm you down and they also have vitamin D3 and saffron, which are mood boosters." "Saffron has some great benefits for the body. So I do that, then I light some palo santo or incense," she told WhoWhatWear. "I normally just lay in a circle of candles in the dark with my tarot cards and get witchy."

Changing The Perspective On Beauty

If there was one thing Hyland could change about beauty perceptions, it would be "that just because you're an aging woman doesn’t mean you have to play a mom or a grandma."

"A lot of the time in film and television, you get these gorgeous, gorgeous women, and they remain gorgeous their whole lives, but then they get pigeonholed into these frumpy characters or women who don't have their life together," the actress told Glamour. "Meanwhile, as men age, the women playing their lovers or wives are 25 years old. It doesn’t really matter for them."

Hyland continued, "They’re still playing these amazing characters. I know that it's changing, but that’s something that's bothered me my whole life."

Revealing Her Three Favorite Beauty Products

As an ambassador for Olay, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Hyland's three must-have beauty products are the Collagen Peptide moisturizer, the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 night serum, and the cooling face masks.

She then shut down "beauty trends" call them "B.S."

"If you're comfortable in your own skin and you love the way that you look, then that’s the most important thing," she told Glamour. "If you feel good, you look good, and if you think you look good, then you feel good. I don’t think anyone else's opinion should matter on that."

"With that being said, always blend your foundation down your neck!" she admitted. "That is not a B.S. “rule.'"
