‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Unveils Her Second Baby's Name With Husband Zandy Reich

Lea Michele is a mom again! The actress announced the joyful news of the newest addition to her family on Instagram.

The "Glee" star uploaded a cute family portrait to share the birth of her second baby and the adorable names they chose.

Lea Michele and her husband, Zandy Reich, told the world they were expecting baby number 2 in May with a surprise maternity shoot on Instagram.

The singer posted a picture of three hands wrapped around the new infant's feet on her Instagram page with the caption, "Our hearts are so full. Emery Sol Reich."

Michele's baby, whose sex has not yet been revealed, but with the clues, might be a beautiful baby girl donned a pink outfit wrapped in a matching pink flowery shawl.

The three hands certainly represent her husband, their first child, and herself as they welcome the 4th addition to their beautiful family. Fans immediately swarmed the comment section with heartwarming compliments and thoughts for the new parents.

This fan expressed her admiration for how Michele and "the kids all have August birthdays" and congratulated her on the birth of her child. Another user wrote educated the comment section on the meaning of "Sol," which, according to them, means "sun in Portuguese."

"Momchele being a thing is one of my favorite thing ever," wrote one fan, as another declared, "I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOUUUU."

This user commended the actress for her kids' name choices so far and wrote, "Emery Sol and Ever Leo. Cute names," as another user stated that they were in "LOVEEEEEE" with the baby's name.

Michele carried her fans along with the pregnancy journey and began by announcing that she was expecting another child in March. The Blast reported that she shared three slides of herself cradling her growing bump and declared to the fans: "Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed."

The heartwarming news was well-received by her friends, colleagues, and fans in the comment section, who all sent her congratulatory wishes and love. Actress Zooey Deschanel typed "Congratulations!!!" as Ashley Tisdale expressed her excitement for Michele's "beautiful family."

"Now it's time for a mini Rachel Berry," an excited fan wrote in reference to her very famous character from "Glee." This user described Michele as "the most beautiful pregnant woman I have seen,"and another happy follower shared, "omgscreaming and crying, SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU."

The proud parents of two became a married couple in 2019 after long years of friendship and welcomed their first child, Ever Leo, in August 2020.

The pair were first rumored to be an item after Michele was spotted hanging out publicly with the former head of business development for Theory, a prominent clothing brand, in 2017. 

They confirmed the romance the following year when Reich got down on one knee and proposed to the Broadway star.

Since tying the knot, Michele has shared bits of their life as a couple on her social media page, but nothing is known about Reich as he has no active presence on any social media platform.

The actress got a deserving gesture from her son on Mother's Day in May last year. The event coincided with her performance as Fanny Brice on "Funny Girl" on the iconic Broadway stage.

Ever showed up to surprise his mom with a stunning bouquet of flowers, turning the evening into a night to remember for the actress and the audience.

The proud mom pulled her son onto the stage, accepted the bouquet, wrapped him in her arms, and pointed toward the audience before leaving the spotlight.

Ever reportedly braved his ill health at that time to put a smile on his mother's face and simultaneously make his own Broadway debut. 

Last April, before her Broadway performance, The Blast shared that the star gave a health update on her son, who was admitted to the hospital a second time. Michele disclosed to the media at the Time 100 Gala that the 2-year-old at that time was doing good.

However, she admitted that there was still some ground to cover regarding his health, but generally, she confirmed that the boy was "doing well" and "healthy."

She also expressed her gratitude to her "Funny Girl" castmates and her husband for holding it down since the health crisis began in March. The actress was open about her son's struggles and even shared with her Instagram followers that the second hospital visit was hard for her.

"As parents, we have to be strong for our kids. But sometimes, you want to break down and cry (hidden in the bathroom or closet is usually best. Today, I chose [the] hospital bathroom)," wrote the actress. 

However, she continued that "hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for."
