Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler go way back, but is their bromance still going strong?
These two comedy legends first hit it off during their "Saturday Night Live" days in the early '90s. Since then, Schneider has appeared in several of Sandler's movies, such as "The Waterboy," "Big Daddy," "50 First Dates," "Grown Ups," and many others.
But after over five decades--are Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler still friends?

If you've seen a Happy Madison movie, chances are Schneider's made an appearance. From "The Waterboy" and "Big Daddy" to "50 First Dates" and "Grown Ups," Schneider’s been a regular in Sandler's film roster--and behind the scenes, their bond is just as strong.
"There's not been a week in 30 years where he doesn't check in on me. I mean, that's true. No matter where I am in the world, I'll get a phone call, sometimes in the middle of the night," Schneider told People Magazine at the New York City premiere of Sandler's new Netflix comedy special "Adam Sandler: Love You." "He called me from Italy, [and said], 'What are you doing?' I go, 'It's two o'clock in the morning.' 'Well get up. I need to talk to you. Are you good?' "

In the past, Schneider has praised Sandler for always looking out for his friends, hooking them up with roles and keeping the group together.
"We've been friends for five decades now. He's a special cat, and for him to include me in all this stuff ever is just, it's incredible," Schneider told People. "I mean, I really, I don't have any words to say except I love him and I just want him to be healthy, happy, successful. He's just incredible."
"And he's doing 'Happy Gilmore 2,'" he adds. "How amazing is that?"
Just a few days ago, Adam Sandler confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 comedy film is ready to start filming in New Jersey.
It’s set to feature real professional golfers and some unexpected cameos, but will Schneider be involved in the project? "We'll see," he teased.

"He's got a new movie coming out with George Clooney for Netflix. It's been a wonderful, great experience for him and a great deal for Netflix to get the biggest movie star in the world on there."
Rob Schneider Makes Headlines For His Relationship With Daughter Elle King
Rob Schneider recently made headlines for his up-and-down relationship with his daughter, country music artist Elle King, who was born Tanner Elle Schneider.
King hasn’t shied away from talking about her rocky relationship with her dad, explaining that it has been tough and complicated. In fact, she said she went “four or five years without talking to my dad."
"If I would ever spend a summer with my dad, it would be on a movie set," she said on the "Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde" podcast. "I would just get lost in the shuffle. If I ever messed up a shot, if I was ever talking, like, I would get in f-cking trouble."
“... My dad forgot about every single birthday,” she recalled. “I spent my 18th birthday in a summer school and they brought me cupcakes and I came home and my dad forgot my birthday.”
Rob Schneider Responds To Elle King's Recent Comments
Shortly after King's interview went viral, Rob Schneider addressed the comments, apologizing to his daughter for his mistakes.
“I just want to tell my daughter, Elle, I love you, and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you needed and clearly I wasn’t and I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings,” the actor said in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson. “I love you completely. I love you entirely.
“I wish you the best. I feel terrible and I just want you to know that I don’t take anything you say personally,” he added.
