Demi Moore Reminisces On Wrecked Marriage To Bruce Willis

One of Hollywood's favorite couple, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, who are now exes, shocked everyone when the turmoil in their marriage was revealed. 

They were once considered the industry's loveliest couple, but the progress they experienced in their careers, did not extend to their marriage, physically or emotionally. The couple were in such a bad place that when they finally got divorced, it felt like it was for the very best. 

Recently, Moore recounted on her marriage to the "Die Hard" actor, which she could only describe as 'painful.'

Moore and Willis came off as the perfect couple when they first got together. Fans were excited about this romance that walked down the aisle in 1987.

In the "Mr. Brooks" actress' memoir titled "Inside Out," she explained how her ex-husband helped her through one of the most difficult times in her life.

She wrote that during a house party at the actor's house, she was dressed in a bathing suit and took his jet ski on a quick ride. When she got back, a photographer captured her on camera without her permission.

The photo sparked a discussion online, as people fat-shamed her. While she was dealing with image issues, Moore said that Willis maintained that she was beautiful the way she looked.

Usually, when some celebrities get together to begin a family, fans often see them as made for each other and no one else. However, there have been cases where couples who appeared to be soul mates at the beginning, end up becoming enemies. 

Although there's no registered hatred or beef between Moore and Willis, the actress still maintains that her relationship with the "Surrogates" actor was hurtful.

After their divorce was finalized in 2000, the couple moved on with other people and had incredible turnovers in their careers.

The couple's marriage nightmare began after a while, as Willis became erratic. Moore also disclosed that she once thought she was sleeping with someone else.

She disclosed that she visited him while he was filming "Hudson Hawk" and got the feeling that he had cheated on her. 

"... It was tense and it was weird and there was just stuff that didn't seem kosher," she said. 

The couple also experienced troubles when it came to raising their three kids. Moore revealed that Willis asked her to stay home and be with the kids, but she did not have it in her to leave her acting career behind.

When a marriage is going down the drain, there's no limit to the speculations that come up because at that moment, they appear to be true. 

Moore wrote in her memoir that she started thinking that Willis had regrets about marrying her. She said that at the beginning, he was all in, but as time went on, it felt like all he wanted was his freedom. 

"... It was as if he woke up a few years later and thought 'whoa, is this what I want? Or do I really want to be free?'" She wrote.
