Steph Curry's Signature Celebration Features For Kamala Harris At The DNC

Before Curry's surprise appearance at the DNC, his coach electrified the crowd earlier this week during his endorsement speech. Steve Kerr referenced the athlete's signature "Night-Night" celebration pose while trolling Trump.

Following Kerr's hilarious moment, DNC officials revealed Curry would endorse Harris for president with a video message at Thursday's event. He and the VP go way back, hanging out during his preparations for the Paris Olympics.

They were photographed while Team USA was in Las Vegas this summer and share similar roots. Curry's NBA career started and continues with the Golden State Warriors.

According to TMZ, his team represents the San Francisco Bay Area and Oakland, where Harris was born and served as District Attorney. But Curry didn't dwell on these ties during his endorsement speech.

In his video message for the DNC, Curry popped up on the screen with a sweet reminder that he led Team USA to a gold medal in basketball at the Paris Olympics.

The NBA Star rocked the medal around his neck as he explained why Harris should be voters' choice at the polls. He described her as the right woman for the White House, claiming she would unite America and move the country forward.

Harris echoed similar sentiments about herself during her acceptance speech for the Democratic nomination for president. TMZ shared that she bashed Trump as a danger to the country, believing his return to the Oval Office would cause devastating consequences.

Harris didn't hold back while ripping Trump to shreds, slamming him as a threat to citizens, especially the middle class. She blamed him for January's Capitol riots, telling the crowd to imagine how much worse things would get if the former POTUS returned to office.

The VP cited the Supreme Court of the United States protecting Trump against prosecution, noting that if he returned to the White House, he would be without guard rails. She also bashed him for sabotaging a bipartisan border security bill.

Harris promised to revive the bill and sign it into law if she was elected as the next president. She claimed she would be a leader for all Americans regardless of their party while alleging Trump would "serve the only client he has ever had — himself."

Rapper Lil Jon Performs At The DNC

The Blast recently reported that the crowd at the DNC enjoyed an electrifying performance from rapper Lil Jon. He got many on their feet as he performed his hit party anthems "Turn Down For What" and "Get Low."

The Hip-hop star also gave special shout-outs to "VP Harris" and "Governor Walz," with a video of his performance going viral on X. The post generated mixed reactions from fans, with Trump and Harris supporters butting heads.

"Republicans in the comments are acting like this is weird, but Hulk Hogan ripping his shirt on stage is cool and fine," someone noted, while another supporter chimed, "To the window….. to the WALZ."

"This is a concert, not a convention," a critic argued. A fellow displeased X user claimed: "Democrats had to get a music celebrity to perform in order to get people to show up at the DNC."

Kamala Harris Has Powerful Female Supporters

Many artists behind Harris include famous female singers like Megan Thee Stallion and Katy Perry. Last month,  the "Mamushi" rapper joked about being the "Thee new Head of Security" for the VP in a promotional video.

Megan donned the Democratic Party's signature blue color, rocking a cropped blue blazer, matching tailored trousers, and a cropped white shirt with a blue tie. Her outfit was part of her support for Harris at her Atlanta rally.

Perry became the latest female celebrity to voice her support for Harris, sharing a picture of them on Instagram. "Congrats @kamalaharris. Believed in you from the beginning!" she captioned the post, adding a red heart and American flag emoji.

Will the growing list of celebrities supporting Kamala Harris secure her position as the next president?
