What's going on with Charlotte Flair? That's the question on every wrestling fan's mind. The 13-time Women's Champion has been absent from WWE television since early March.

When last seen, Charlotte was setting up a feud between her and RAW Women's Champion Asuka. It appeared the two were headed for a WrestleMania 37 feud over the coveted title. However, that feud's been dropped, and Asuka's new opponent is Rhea Ripley.

Although, Charlotte explained her absence was due to testing positive for COVID-19, there may be another reason WWE pulled her from WrestleMania.

Andrade Sheds Light On The Situation

On March 21st, Flair's fiancé Andrade was released from WWE. The former United States Champion was unhappy with lack of television time and creative direction for his character. Despite originally being denied his release request, WWE eventually granted it.

In one of his first post WWE interviews, Andrade talked with "Lucha Libre Online." During the conversation, Andrade talked about Charlotte and gave insight into why she was pulled from events. According to him, Charlotte received a call from WWE doctors informing her she was pregnant.

The couple was shocked and confused by the news. Charlotte would take several pregnancy tests, which came back negative. A follow-up visit to the doctor would also confirm that she wasn't pregnant. Despite the tests proving WWE doctors were wrong, the company made the decision to pull Charlotte from her current storyline.

Charlotte Responds To False Pregnancy

Andrade's revelation about WWE falsely diagnosing Charlotte has pregnant created quite a buzz. Fans were wondering if there was any truth to the story. Well, they didn't have to wait long to find out.

Flair's publicist released a statement in response to Andrade's comments. She did confirm that the pregnancy story was true. She went on to explain receiving a call from WWE's medical staff that her HCG levels were high and she was being "medically suspended due to pregnancy." 

Aside from shedding light on the pregnancy story, Flair also talked about the double standards the careers of men and women wrestlers. Flair discussed how men can wrestle into their 50s, but a women's wrestler in her 30s is considered old.

Healing From COVID-19

Although, WWE suspended Charlotte due to a false pregnancy, the star is dealing with another medical issue. On March 22nd, Flair announced via Twitter that the reason for her absence was due to COVID-19.  The star said she was resting at home, and thanked everyone for their love and support.

But she wasn't the only one who tested positive for coronavirus. According to Andrade, he too was diagnosed with COVID-19. Andrade tested positive for the virus around the time he was released from WWE.

Charlotte Returning Soon?

Although, Charlotte's was pulled from WrestleMania, it seems that she may be on her way back soon.  With recovered from COVID-19, WWE could be gearing up for The Queen's return. Last week, rumors surfaced that WWE may be moving Charlotte to Smackdown.

But according to reports, she was backstage at last night's taping of Monday Night Raw. However, the star didn't make an appearance on television. It's unclear if Flair will make her return prior to WrestleMania 37, but when she does, she'll be ready to regain her throne as Queen of WWE.
