Madonna's Friends Are Reportedly Worried About Her Constantly Dating Men 'Less Than Half Her Age'

Madonna's close circle is reportedly worried as she flaunts her new boyfriend, 28-year-old Akeem Morris, just months after splitting from another young partner, Josh Popper.

A major source of their worries is that Morris was in a long-term relationship around the time he started dating the legendary singer.

Madonna made their relationship Instagram official in July with a photo of them in New York, which triggered Akeem Morris' ex to rant about them on TikTok.

Madonna's close circle has expressed concerns about her new relationship with a man in his late twenties.

The pop superstar launched their relationship in July, just a few months after her split from her boxer ex-boyfriend, Josh Popper.

Insiders have now revealed to the Daily Mail that Madonna's friends believe Morris "is not in it for love" and just fills her need for adoration.

They are worried that he has bad intentions for the music star after his ex-girlfriend accused him of getting with Madonna while they were together.

A source said, "Her friends thought that she was over dating younger men, but she clearly isn't and no one trusts Akeem. They want Madonna to be happy but she has to know that these guys, who are less than half her age, are not in it for love."

They added, "He is a small-time soccer player who is now traveling the world with Madonna and partying with her famous friends."

Although Morris and Madonna's romantic relationship is a new development, he was previously featured in a Paper magazine shoot with the "Vogue" singer.

However, the model was reportedly still in a relationship with his long-term girlfriend, Reagan Rice, when he started his new romance with Madonna.

The insider told the Daily Mail that the nature of the end of his romance with Rice has further heightened the fears of Madonna's close circle.

They said, "The fact he was in a relationship with Reagan Rice when he got together with Madonna says a lot. Reagan found out on social media that he was with her. Her friends fear that if he did this to Reagan, he could do this to any woman."

Madonna made her relationship with Morris Instagram official on July 4th, posting photos of them cuddling as they celebrated the holiday in New York City.

The  singer later posted a photo of herself and Morris in bed as part of a social media dump, which she captioned "Hot Fun In The Summer Time."

Shortly after Madonna's official post, Morris' ex-girlfriend Rice posted videos on TikTok accusing him of cheating with the singer while they were together.

She said, "Put a finger down if your boyfriend of 3 years is now dating Madonna #madonna #breakup #wtf #2024 #heartbreak."

Morris is also quite active on social media and often shares posts on his life in New York on his Instagram page. One of his recent posts, made on July 25th, was liked by Madonna.

Despite the disapproval from her close friends, Madonna seems to be enjoying her relationship with Morris.

However, her circle already believes that the singer's new romance will eventually fizzle out, at which point she'll move on to the next younger man she's interested in.

The source said, "Madonna seems to be invested in him but it is only a matter of time before they are done and she is onto the next one. She has a revolving door of younger men and no matter how many candles are on her birthday cake, her men remain the same age."

The insider also shared that the "Material Girl" singer's circle is tired of advising her and getting their warnings ignored.

"It is at the point where she does not seem to care so people close to her are giving up trying to advise," the source noted, adding, "She loves being adored and this is what he is giving her."

Madonna's romance with Akeem comes nearly two months after her split with Josh Popper.

The 30-year-old boxing coach had been with Madonna for a year, but their relationship reportedly "fizzled out" due to Madonna's demanding touring schedule.

At the time, a source told The U.S. Sun, "Madonna has barely seen Josh for months because her schedule was so hectic. Things just fizzled out. There's genuinely no bad blood—they're still fond of each other."

The insider added that while their relationship has cooled, they remain friends.

Popper supported Madonna's "Celebration" tour and joined her on stage during a Brooklyn show in December 2023.

Before Popper, Madonna dated dancer and choreographer Ahlamalik Williams, who is 36 years her junior, until they split in 2022.
