Halle Berry Names Ex-Employee In Custody Battle With Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry has dropped bombshell allegations against her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez.

The "Catwoman" star recently updated her court documents with a heated declaration, accusing the father of her son of shady dealings behind the scenes. She claimed he roped an ex-employee into his schemes to spread lies about her.

Halle Berry has been married three times, with Olivier Martinez as her third husband. The pair have been embroiled in legal drama since their split and are now fighting for custody of their 10-year-old son, Maceo.

The custody drama between Berry and Martinez intensified after the Hollywood sensation claimed her ex-husband had conspired with a former employee named Erica. In her documents, she accused the duo of interfering with her therapy sessions.

Berry explained that she and Maceo had been working with a therapist for a year; however, Martinez allegedly tried to ruin their sessions with lies. He, per her claims, attempted to:

"Influence Maceo's therapist to view [Halle] as a risk to Maceo by communicating false stories about [Halle's] relationship with Maceo through a former employee."

In her declaration, obtained by In Touch, the actress claimed she learned about the plot after Erica emailed the therapist "per Oliver's request." Her ex-employee asked for a "confidential conversation" with the therapist to address her time in Berry's household.

According to Berry, Erica claimed she got the therapist's contact information through the entertainer's long-time employee, "Miryam." However, she misspelled her name as "Myriam," a mistake Martinez was allegedly prone to making.

Berry found the error suspicious, noting that Erica had always spelled Miryam's name correctly. Therefore, this proved Martinez's involvement since he allegedly used "Myriam." The actress's accusations continued:

"Olivier lied and went behind my back trying to dig up negative information about me from a former employee and pressuring her to speak to [the therapist] without obtaining my consent, which Olivier later admitted to me."

"[The therapist] did not agree to speak to Erica because she did not believe that anything Erica had to offer was relevant," Berry claimed, noting Martinez had stopped the therapist from speaking to their son's educational assessor.

Berry claimed that after filing a lawsuit against Erica, she learned three crucial details about what transpired between her former employee and Martinez. Her declaration read:

"I have learned that (1) Olivier pressured Erica to reach out to [the therapist] by leveraging a referral for employment and requested that she send him photos and videos recorded during her employment."

"(2) that Olivier told Erica exactly what to say in the email to [the therapist]; and (3) despite the pressure from Olivier and her willingness to apparently lie, Erica believed that I was an excellent mother," Berry revealed, adding:

"Erica also disclosed that Olivier told her that [the therapist] wanted to speak to her, which was another one of Olivier's fabrications as [the therapist] never made such a request."

Berry's allegations about Martinez's conspiracy with her former employee are part of her recent move to obtain sole legal custody of their son. This move comes after a judge denied her co-parenting motion.

Earlier this month, the actress's petition to stop her ex-husband from skipping out of their co-parenting therapy sessions was denied. The Blast reported that she filed the request following Martinez's plans to enjoy his summer alone.

Berry claimed he "unilaterally decided to defer co-parenting therapy altogether until September because he was traveling to France in the month of July and because his brother will be visiting him in the month of August in Los Angeles."

She stressed that their co-parenting therapy sessions were supposed to be completed by June 14, 2024, but they had not even started. Despite falling behind schedule, Martinez chose to take "'the summer off,'" a move that pissed his ex-wife.

In her petition, Berry painted Martinez as selfish and uncooperative. She claimed she had "tried everything to foster a better co-parenting relationship with Olivier," but "rather than support, she is met with resistance and conflict."

Meanwhile, Martinez argued that his ex-wife enjoyed tormenting him. Through his attorney, he accused Berry of "constantly attempting to harass and strong-arm Respondent [Martinez] by forcing him into 'submission' using her wealth and the legal professionals at her disposal."

With Halle Berry's recent filing for sole legal custody of their son, her battle with Olivier Martinez won't end anytime soon.
