Brad Pitt Enjoys Motorcycle Adventure Amid Son's Recovery From E-Bike Accident

Brad Pitt is back on the road weeks after his estranged son's terrifying accident.

The "Bullet Train" star recently enjoyed a motorcycle ride in Iceland, where he made safety his number one priority. The actor's cautiousness might be due to his son Pax's e-bike crash in July.

Brad Pitt was reportedly worried about his son but couldn't be next to him given their estrangement. He has suffered a rocky dynamic with his six kids over his tumultuous split from their mother, Angelina Jolie.

During his getaway to the Nordic island, Pitt joined a motorcycle group for a mini adventure through the city. A video shared by TMZ captured him prepping for the trip at a parking lot, keeping warm in leather riding gear.

Pitt prioritized his safety by covering his face with a black ski mask before wearing his helmet. Then he hopped onto the bike and took off, followed by a couple of other bikers, presumably not a fearsome motorcycle gang.

It was unclear where the group was headed, but their outing comes weeks after Pitt's son was hospitalized for a nasty e-bike accident. The Blast reported that Pax crashed into a stopped car on July 29 during rush hour traffic.

The freak accident left Pax unconscious at the scene, with eyewitnesses initially believing he was dead. Fortunately, the 20-year-old cheated death but suffered a severe head injury with a brain bleed and a hip wound.

Medics rushed him to the ICU, where he received treatment for a week before his release. During his hospitalization, sources claimed Pitt was "concerned" about Pax's well-being but couldn't be by his side.

Insiders blamed his estrangement from Pax on his ex-wife, claiming Angelina Jolie had turned their six children against him amid their tumultuous split. On that note, Pitt could only get updates about his son from "concerned people around the family."

While Pitt prioritizes safety when riding his motorcycle, Pax was a different case. The 20-year-old had a history of bike accidents, incidents that only worsened with his dislike for using safety gear.

Sources noted Pitt was concerned about Pax's lack of a helmet during his most recent e-bike crash, which frequently happens. His estranged son's friends were similarly worried about his safety, claiming "he's being reckless."

An insider close to the family echoed similar concerns, alleging that Pax had been in a string of crashes and "it's not great." They described him as a troubled kid, noting his famous mother was desperately trying to set him straight.

Besides escaping death, Pax wasn't held accountable for the e-bike accident. The Los Angeles Police Department did not express intentions to file charges against him, and there were no additional updates to their report about the crash.

The drama within the Pitt-Jolie household intensified this month when the estranged couple's daughter, Shiloh, chose to drop her father's last name. The Blast shared that she filed the petition to only use her mother's surname shortly after turning 18.

A judge granted her request three months after the filing, officially making her "Shiloh Jolie" instead of "Shiloh Jolie-Pitt." A source claimed the move "hurt" her father; however, he wasn't blindsided by her decision.

"He knew this was coming, and there is nothing he can do about it right now," the insider revealed. They noted that Pitt still loves Shiloh and his other children but had accepted their estrangement as a "way of life."

"He respects Shiloh's decision. He loves her, and no matter what happens, he is always only a phone call away," the source stressed, adding, "He will be there for Shiloh and any of his kids whenever they need, no questions asked."

Pitt and Jolie were once the biggest power couple in Hollywood, but their love story eventually turned bitter due to multiple court battles. The pair fought over their separation, custody arrangements, and property division.

Pitt reportedly believed these issues influenced his estrangement from his children and was holding on to the hope that once the legal drama was over, they could finally reconcile. However, that wish did not extend to his adopted children.

"He knows that, with some of the other kids who are not biologically his children, they do not understand and may never allow him back into their lives," a source claimed, noting that Pitt hoped his biological kids — Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox — would let him in.
