Jessica Simpson stuck to her words – the 40-year-old actress, singer, and “Open Book” author promised essays as part of the massive Amazon multimedia deal she inked last year, with today bringing the blonde revealing the cover of her Amazon Original Stories essay. On Monday, the “Dukes of Hazzard” star shared a landmark Instagram update, one bringing a flawless, confident, and stunning outdoor shot, plus the mom of three revealing that the timing of the essay’s composition came just when she tested positive for COVID. The blonde’s photo, showing her in a natural setting, came with her shot relatively close up and going ethereal and goddess-like at once as she posed in a stunning white-gray dress, one with sheer sleeve details and a semi-sheer deal elsewhere.
Looking dead at the camera with a fierce gaze and bombshel blonde hair, Jessica knocked the camera dead.
“JESSICA SIMPSON AN ESSAY” appeared in text, with “Take the Lead” revealed as the title. Simpson then took to her caption to introduce the work and reveal some coronavirus news, something she’d not yet spoken of.
“This is the cover of my new Amazon Original Stories essay on self-acceptance, parenthood and overcoming fear called…TAKE THE LEAD,” she wrote, with talk then seeing the star state that this past year had been “intense” for her. Continuing, Jessica told her 5.3 million followers: “This past year has been especially intense for me and so many of you. I started writing this essay on the same day I received a positive test result for COVID-19. I decided instead of being driven by fear, I would manifest a hopeful conversation with you.”
Jessica revealed her Amazon partnership in December 2020. The deal includes an unscripted docu-series set to chronicle the star’s twenties, this in the wake of her 2020-released “Open Book.” See more photos below.
Amazon Prime users who happen to fans of Jessica Simpson now get an extra win. Closing her caption, the actress alerted fans to the release date and Prime perks, writing: “TAKE THE LEAD will be available on April 29th, along with an audio version I narrated. You can read or listen for free with Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited.”
