Snooki and JWoww reunited in Atlantic City for a wild weekend at the casino, but it's not exactly what you think -- reality stars were in town for their 6-year-old daughters' competitive cheer competition!

That's right, the 'Jersey Shore' moms headed to party central to support their young kid's cheer competition, and we are guessing there wasn't much partying on this trip.

If you are unaware, competitive cheer is an elite sport where participants show off skills in gymnastics, dance, and are dressed to impress! And...yes...it starts at a very young age!

"SO PROUD OF YOU BABYGIRL??? #cheerlife #cheermom," Snooki captioned the cute photo of her and daughter, Giovanna, headed into the first day of competition.

"Day 2 & they absolutely CRUSHED IT ?? #hitzero #proudmom #cheerlife #cheermom," she continued, adding another precious photo of the duo holding hands in the resort.

As for JWoww, she was spotted with her fiance Zack Carpinello visiting the Harrah's resort where her daughter Meilani competed in the resort's Waterfront Conference Center.

It's unclear if the reality stars were able to catch up with one another while at the event -- but, as we said, they are on different teams -- so they may have had to have been careful in fraternizing with the other team! Just Kidding...

"We had the best time this weekend at Harrahs Resort for Meilani Mathews cheer competition ? Go Tiny Stars," JWoww captioned pictures of her daughter preparing for the competition.

"Beautiful photo ?," co-star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino commented on Instagram.

Snooki even jumped into the comments, welcoming JWoww and her daughter into the sport, saying, "So glad you guys are apart of the cheer world!!! ??"

BTW -- It should be noted, Snooki was quite the gymnast and cheer star in her younger years."

"I was really good at floor and vault and I actually made it to states once. I quit when I was 13 because it was just too much. States was a big memory for me. Then I took up cheerleading," she said in an interview.

In commenting on a federal ruling that cheerleading wasn't a "sport" she continued, "Wow, well I don’t think just cheering for your team is a sport, but competitive cheerleading, like Cheerleading Worlds, is something that you just can’t do unless you’re a trained athlete. You’re practicing five days a week, you’re doing flips and everything. That’s definitely a sport to me!"

The good news, it wasn't all stiff competition, JWoww and her fiance celebrated their recent engagement at celebrity chef-owned Italian restaurant Martorano’s by Steve Martorano at Harrah’s Resort.

The couple was also surprised with a special cake to celebrate their engagement with the “O” in JWOWW in the shape of an engagement ring. According to onlookers, it was a "very sweet moment" when the staff brought out the cake and they blew out the candles as a family.
