Whoopi Goldberg has been a proud member and fan-loved host of “The View” TV talk show since 2005. Viewers not only love how she discusses topics on the show, but how carries them along.
She has never been one to back down from a serious discussion and air her views and to some, this may come off as an attack.
Although the actress is loved by her viewers, there’s at least one former co-host from the show, who believes that Goldberg disliked her.

Goldberg, The Star Actress
The actress has won many accolades which include a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, Academy Award and a Tony Award.
She was born in New York, City, U.S. on November 13, 19655. She’s popularly known as an actor, author, comedian and TV personality. Goldberg got her big movie break in 1985 when she starred in “The Color Purple.”
This role earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award win. As the years went by, she was featured in other amazing blockbuster movies including comedies.
Career As A Talk Show Host
In 2006, Goldberg was the host for a morning radio talk called “Wake Up With Whoopi.” A year later, she revealed on the radio show that she was taken a permanent hiatus from acting, citing that the industry can no longer accommodate her amazing acting skills.
When she began as a host on “The View,” fans went crazy for her. The “Colored Girls” actress brought different versions of herself to the screen and fans loved it.
The show usually features several hosts, who discuss different topics and handle guest interviews.
The Whoopi Tenure
Since 2005, “The View” has seen several hosts come and go, but the only constant was Goldberg. According to reports, the 65-year-old has hosted almost 2,000 episodes.
Although she enjoys her time on the show, she revealed to “New York Times” that for her creative satisfaction, she show is simply not enough. She went on to say that, to satisfy this needs of hers, she goes on several adventures.
She sees the show as a place where she’s constantly playing a role and has to do it well for her benefit and that of the viewers watching and looking up to her.
Whoopi Didn’t Get Along With One Co-Host
Hosting a show with several personalities, can often lead to clases and while Goldberg is loved by viewers, she did not get along with everyone on the show.
Essentially, one former co-host on “The View,” known as Rosie O’Donnell said that she left the show for this reason.
O’Donnell left the show and came back twice and the third time was the final straw. When Howard Stern asked her if she was offered the jo a third time, she said no.
Also, she revealed that the fact that Goldberg did not like her, played a huge role in the decision.
