In August, Cardi revealed on X Spaces that she had a terrifying "freak accident" where she slipped down a flight of stairs, tearing a ligament in her pelvis. This incident almost resulted in pregnancy loss, as Cardi explained how she woke up unable to move her lower body, feeling "paralyzed" from the pain.

Following the accident, Cardi was hospitalized for three days, during which she was administered morphine to manage the intense pain. She shared that she had dilated and was experiencing contractions every two minutes for an entire day. The severity of the situation required close monitoring, and the "Bodak Yellow" rapper described being unable to move for days due to the pain.

"I dilated and I was having contractions every two minutes for a whole 24 hours," said the performer. "So they had to monitor me and I was in a lot of pain. I couldn't move for two days straight."

Despite these challenges, she remains strong and focused, continuing to share her journey with her fans while preparing for the arrival of her third child.
