Christina Aguilera is big-time celebrating 20 years since the release of iconic track "Lady Marmalade." The 40-year-old singing superstar made her weekend Instagram update a giant trip down memory lane, reminding her 7.4 million followers that it has, indeed, been 20 years since the boxing ring video bringing sweat-drenched moves, heavy eyeliner, and one very skimpy outfit. Posting a photo of the burleqsue corset, elbow gloves, and massive crimped hair that defined a generation, Xtina marked the milestone in style. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. "Lady Marmalade," also bringing in vocals from Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink, was the theme today as Aguilera shared the mother of all throwbacks. The "Body" singer, writing "20 YEARS" and the name of the track re-creating Patti Labelle's 1974 classic, appeared in her plunging, push-up red corset, one that became iconic for its heavy jewel accessories and matching gloves, with Aguilera also seen heavily made up as she struck a bombshell pose with parted and red-stained lips.

Throwing out her killer cleavage and smoking good looks, "The Voice" judge wrote: "Happy Anniversary, Lady Marmalade" with two heart emoji.

"Ugh the best," one fan quickly replied, with the blonde also told that she was nothing short of "iconic." The photo comes as Aguilera both gears up for her first album release since 2018 and, alongside her "Lady Marmalade" co-stars, looks back on the track that came co-produced by Missy Elliott. See the recollections and more photos after the snap.

The video, which was considered sexually provocative in its time, has been reflected on by Missy Elliott, who stated: "We wanted to showcase each of the “four badass chicks from the Moulin Rouge,” bringing together their different skills and personas into a true celebration of diversity, talent, and female unity."

Aguilera, meanwhile, said: "I think we all brought something unique to the table. The message was awesome, because every woman wants to feel good in their own skin." See her killer pool shot below!

Xtina, famous for ushering in self-acceptance with hit "Beautiful" track – long before the hashtag existed – added:

"Every woman wants to own their sexuality—whether you want to put on a corset or not. Before, to be sexualized meant that you would be labeled, and to own your sexuality meant you would be slut-shamed. As soon as I heard Missy and Rockwilder’s production, it was just like, “This is going to be something that feels so good and so right.”
