Britney Spears Stuns With Braless 'Crossroads' Surprise

Britney Spears just dropped a massive surprise for her 29.8 million Instagram followers. The 39-year-old pop icon yesterday took a break from her new "RED" photoshoot for a little throwback action, taking fans way back to 2002 and her "Crossroads" movie premiere. Britney, currently fronting media outlets for both her conservatorship battle and The New York Times-released "Framing Britney Spears" documentary, was all smiles and stunning in a braless dress from 18 years ago – fans are now asking for a 2.0. Scroll for the photos. They come as Britney makes fresh headlines for showing off her killer figure at 39, with this week bringing "RED" as the Grammy winner stripped down to tight shorts, pantyhose, and a sheer shirt for a little hair-whipping.

The photos, seeing Britney exiting a venue at night and backed by men in suits, showed the "Toxic" singer looking gorgeous and showing off her sensational body in a classy, but very braless, silver sequin dress, one hugging her every curve.

Looking confident and smiling with parted hair worn down, Britney shared multiple shots, also including CW actor and "Crossroads" co-star Anson Mount, whom Britney tagged. The leggy mini was shown off in the third image, with Britney then seen glancing behind her to close the post, one now sitting at over 1.1 million likes.

"Tb to the 2002 London Crossroads premiere ?? !!!" Spears captioned the shot, quickly snagging herself a like from "Jesrsey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. See her "RED" sheer shirt shots after the photos, where you can swipe for the gallery.

Britney, who announced photography project "Project Rose" in 2020 and brought all the flower crowns and back-yard crop tops in the world with it, is now upping the ante with "RED" as images show her killing it in sheer black fabrics with a slight vintage edge. "Twisted Elegance … introducing RED ???? !!!!" the singer wrote ahead of the weekend, then returning in video mode and telling fans:

"No lipstick ? … blush … or foundation cause I was in a rush ??‍♀️… but you get the idea ???‍♀️? !!!!! RED ? !!!!!"

The #FreeBritney movement, now deeming the star's Instagram a setup, has been accusing Spears of posting old photos, something she has repeatedly denied. Posting this month and in a gorgeous blue-and-white crop top from her L.A. home, the singer confirmed that she isn't recycling her content, even dropping the F bomb as she wrote: "This was yesterday ? ... nope not kidding wise as-es ?????? !!!! True f-cking story ... it was yesterday !!!!!!"
