Wrestling Couple Cody And Brandi Rhodes To Star In New Reality Show

Wrestling fans will be seeing more of Cody and Brandi Rhodes. AEW's power couple is set to star in their own reality show. The announcement was made during last night's broadcast of Dynamite.

"Rhodes to the Top" is the name of their series, which is set to air on the TNT Network. No premiere date has been set, but a trailer is already hyping up the series.

This will be the second reality series the couple has starred in. Brandi was a cast member of the short-lived E! network show "WAGS Atlanta."

"Rhodes to the Top" will showcase Cody and Brandi's lives in and out of the ring. Whether they're working behind-the-scenes at AEW or chilling at their home in Atlanta, cameras follow the couple's every move.

The show promises lots of big moments as Cody and Brandi work towards building their wrestling legacy. Aside from wrestling, the couple will be busy preparing for their bundle of joy. In December 2020, they announced Brandi's pregnancy, and last month they revealed they were having a girl.

Cody and Brandi met while working in WWE. As the son of the legendary Dustry Rhodes, Cody was carving out his own wrestling career. Meanwhile, Brandi originally trained to be a wrestler before she was made a ring announcer.

The pair started dating shortly after Brandi signed with the company in 2011. Although, she was hesitant about dating a co-worker, Cody eventually won her over. After nearly two years of dating, the couple married in September 2013.

Following their departure from WWE in 2016, Brandi became a fixture in her husband's career. While working the independent circuit, Brandi served as Cody's valet, and occasionally wrestled. The two would become prominent figures in the 2019 launch of AEW with them serving as onscreen talent and backstage executives.

Brandi is currently out on maternity leave as she awaits the arrival of their baby girl due this summer. Although, she was offered a role as commentator, she decided to remove herself from television due to her pregnancy.

As for Cody, despite a shoulder injury, he's continuing to wrestle. His high-profile tag match with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal took place on March 3rd with Shaq and his partner Jade Cargill scoring the victory. Currently, Cody's embroiled in a new feud with Penta El Zero.

Cody and Brandi will be joining a long list of wrestlers who've had reality shows. One of the most popular reality series is "Total Divas," which features WWE Divas such as Natalya, Paige, and Naomi. Then there's the popular spinoff "Total Bellas," which features Brie and Nikki Bella.

But Cody and Brandi may have some stiff competition from WWE couple: The Miz and Maryse. The second season premiere of "Miz & Mrs." is scheduled to air on Monday April 12th. 

Between "Miz & Mrs." and "Rhodes to the Top," wrestling fans will have a lot of entertaining shows to watch.
