Taylor Swift returned to the big stage for the first time since having to cancel her Vienna shows last week due to a terror threat.

As The Blast reported on August 7, two men were arrested in connection with the planned attack, with a third suspect being taken into custody the next day. One of the arrested men, a 19-year-old, had allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS.

August 15's concert was also Taylor Swift's first return to the UK following a tragic attack in Southport last month, where three children lost their lives at a Swift-themed dance class.

Earlier this month, two men had taken "specific preparatory actions for a terrorist attack" and were planning to target Taylor Swift’s concerts in Vienna.

Following the arrests, Omar Haijawi-Pirchner disclosed that one of the attackers' "aim was to kill himself and a large number of people during the concert." According to NBC News, investigators discovered a cache of items at the suspect’s apartment, including hydrogen peroxide, detonators, detonator cables, and pre-assembled homemade explosives.

Officials at a news conference described the 19-year-old as "clearly radicalized in the direction of the Islamic State (IS)” and noted that “large concerts” are “often a target of Islamist attacks."

Taylor Swift kicked off the final leg of her European Eras Tour on Thursday night at London’s Wembley Stadium, and she brought along her “bestie” Ed Sheeran for the ride!

"This is one of my best friends in the world," she told the crowd. "He works so hard, he's on tour right now and he's probably so tired but he wanted to come and play for you."

Sheeran's surprise appearance during the acoustic segment had the crowd of 92,000 going wild. The setlist for these acoustic moments is always a surprise until the big reveal.

After the duo rocked out to their 2012 hit "Everything Has Changed," the two hit the stage with their 2017 smash "End Game." Swift returned the favor by joining Sheeran for a duet of his mega-hit "Thinking Out Loud."
