Lindsay Lohan was spotted on Thursday in a green, floral wetsuit shooting a scene for "Freakier Friday"—the highly anticipated sequel to "Freaky Friday"—before chilling next to her on-screen mom, Jamie Lee Curtis, who's 65 and still got it!
This beachy shoot follows their big reunion, during which the duo discussed getting back together with the cast of the original Disney film and stepping back into their iconic roles as Anna and Tess for the first time in over twenty years.
"Freakier Friday" will star Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, along with some familiar faces from the original 2004 Disney film.
Behind-The-Scenes Snaps Of Lindsay Lohan Filming 'Freakier Friday'
As seen in the snapshot above, Lohan was spotted with her toes in the sand, standing at the center of the set during a break from filming the new beach scene while Curtis sits on a log waiting for filming to resume.
These latest filming shots surface just days after Disney’s D23 convention, where the sequel's title was officially unveiled, along with some exciting details about what fans can look forward to.
"Things get crazier now," Lohan told Entertainment Weekly of the movie's plot. "Anna is grown up now. She has a teenage daughter, so there's a lot going on in that relationship. Although Anna has calmed down a bit since she was a teenager."
"There's more physical comedy in this. Much more than the original. I love that. Put up a glass door and let me fake walk into it. Where do I get to trip?" Lohan jokes.

Lohan, a true icon of the 2000s, swept her strawberry blonde hair into a casual bun and rocked some rose-colored shades with a vintage cat-eye design and gold accents.
Meanwhile, Curtis sat next to her on-screen daughter in a double denim ensemble and with dark aviator shades.
Curtis also chatted with EW at the D23 convention, hinting that the sequel will feature another catchy hit, similar to how "Take Me Away" from the original film resonated with fans.
"I'm telling you right now, this one played a song last night at the Wiltern [theater in Los Angeles] and it is in my ear like one of those 'Star Trek' earworms," Curtis added. "I'm telling you, it's going to be a monster hit. I'm not going to tell you what it's called because we're in the middle of making it, but there are some old favorites played in this movie."
Lindsay Lohan And Jamie Lee Curtis Running Around The Beach
Another behind-the-scenes snap shows the on-screen mother-daughter duo running around in the sand, portraying their close relationship with one another.
"It's a movie about life. And the first movie was about love and loss and life, and this is just freakier. It's more loving, more emotional," Curtis said at the D23 convention of the movie's plot.
In addition to Lohan and Curtis, the sequel will see the return of Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao.
Lindsay Lohan Laughing While Filming Beach Scene
Another snap focuses just on Lohan as she is seen laughing and running away from the ocean in the same green floral swimsuit.
The actress teased the upcoming sequel earlier this year, calling it "Much freakier than you would expect."
"It's fantastic," she told ABC about reuniting with the cast. "We all just have so much fun and it's so great to have that on set. You just always really want to have a good time. So it's a lot of love, a lot of fun, a lot of laughs and it's a great experience right now."
More On 'Freakier Friday'
As filming is now underway, fans cannot wait for the new movie to be released.
“The movie is just freakier in all aspects. It’s funnier, and there’s more physical comedy. The switches are freakier,” Curtis told iMDb. “This one has more swapping.”
She continued, “I can’t tell you what it is, but I have a secret way of reminding myself [which character I’m playing], but I can’t tell you until you see the movie, or until we’re promoting the movie, and then you’ll know a lot more about the movie.”
"Freakier Friday" officially entered production on June 24, 2024 and is set to be released in 2025.
