Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t have any plans to appear on the upcoming all-star spinoff of the “Real Housewives,” despite being one of the series’ longest-running stars.
While promoting her latest reality show, E!’s “Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump,” during an interview with Access Hollywood on March 24. the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member explained why she would turn down an offer to film the new series before addressing the “Vanderpump Rules” baby boom and offering an update on her West Hollywood venue, TomTom.
Lisa Vanderpump Is Too Busy For Another Show
“I am not a housewife anymore and I wasn’t that good… I left halfway through the show,” Vanderpump noted. “No, the answer would be no. One thousand percent.”
According to Vanderpump, she doesn’t believe she could handle the drama that would come her way from the other women of the “Real Housewives” franchise and also has far too much on her plate to sign up for another series.
“I don’t think I’m ready for that. And besides, I’ve got three shows and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is probably going to get going. Three shows has been enough,” she confirmed.
Lisa Vanderpump Has A Book In The Works
“Doing Pooch Perfect and doing the Vanderpump Dogs rescue show, it’s been an extraordinary year. I’ve been so busy,” Vanderpump continued. “I’m writing my book and taking care of this property on my own. Maybe now I would deal with [the ‘RHOBH drama] better because I’d certainly been through it a few time before with them but no, they didn’t ask me, and as I said, I have three shows so it’s been a lot of work.”
While Vanderpump was a fan favorite for years, she doesn’t believe Bravo would want her on their upcoming spinoff.
Lisa Vanderpump Wasn’t Surprised By ‘Pump Rules’ Pregnancies
“I don’t think they’d want me anyway. Let’s be honest,” she told the hosts of “Access Hollywood.”
As for the recent baby boom amongst the “Vanderpump Rules” cast, Vanderpump said she wasn’t too surprised to see that Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, and Scheana Shay announced their pregnancies shortly after Stassi Schroeder did so in June of last year.
“One of them does something and they all follow suit. They all bought houses on the same street as well so I wasn’t that surprised,” she said.
TomTom Is Re-Opening Soon
Also during the interview, Vanderpump said that while she’s spoken to people involved with “The Talk,” she’s not sure if the series will return after the Sharon Osbourne scandal.
“I don’t know [if it’s coming back] I have talked to a couple of people but I don’t know if it’s coming back. I hope it does because I think conversation should stay open and people should work through it,” she explained.
As for TomTom, she revealed the bar would be opening soon, “probably in a couple of weeks.”
