Dr Dre's plan to show up and show out at the 2028 Olympics is gaining impressive traction!
Celebrities have started lining up to support the music mogul's vision to compete in archery for his beloved country at the next Olympics, and Snoop Dogg is first in line.
The 2028 Olympics is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, USA, and Dr. Dre planned to take advantage of this proximity to pursue his dream.
Snoop Dogg Coined A Nickname For Dr. Dre Ahead Of The Games
Dr. Dre shared that his good friend and colleague came up with a befitting moniker for him as he planned to finish first place in the Summer Games.
The rapper disclosed that all the guys at Snoop Dogg's studio are calling him "Braveheart" as he joked to the interview crew that they will be begging him to take off his gold medal when he wins.
With the USA hosting the next rounds of games, the Super Bowl performer has decided to finetune archery skills by setting up a whole archery training spot in his backyard with plans to hire a coach.
Dr. Dre noted that he has just enough time to "become outstanding," with the games still four solid years away.
The rapper then declared to TMZ that although he has been an archer since junior high and rarely misses his targets, he still needs some expert training to shoot from an Olympic range.

As reported by The Blast, the 59-year-old is well-grounded in his plans to win and has assured his fans that his dream is not outside his reach. In his words, "Ride with me. Come on. I'll get it. I feel like I can do anything."
The rapper continued that he stopped playing archery for a while, but his son bought him a setup for his "birthday or Father's Day or something like that" which has now become his training facility for his Olympics plans.
"I heard that qualifying for the Olympics is 77 feet, and I practice at 90. Yeah. Wouldn't that be interesting to go, especially with it being here in LA, and win the gold medal?" explained his record label boss about his chances at the 2028 games.

Dr. Dre has had some experience with the Olympics, although not as an athlete. The rapper performed at this year's closing ceremony alongside Snoop Dogg.
The iconic performance of their hit tune "The Next Episode" was a tribute to Snoop Dogg's Long Beach origin and the 2028 Olympics.
Snoop Dogg not only performed at the event's closing ceremony but also etched his name as one of the torchbearers for the games. His pin was also among the most coveted at this year's edition.
The "California Girls" rapper also actively participated in NBC's Games coverage and dropped iconic one-liners, which helped him secure a slot in the closing ceremony.
Dr. Dre Is A Man Of Many Means
If Dr. Dre's Olympic plan clicks, he can proudly add it to his long list of ventures. The millionaire is known for his multiple sources of income, which has placed him among the industry's movers and shakers.
In January 2023, The Blast reported that Dr. Dre owns Beats headphones, up-and-coming artists, co-owns Aftermath Records, and controls an impressive real estate portfolio.
He reportedly earns about $500 million annually from his Beats headphone deal. The rapper's properties include a $2.25 million mansion in the Pacific Palisades district, a $50 million expansive mansion in Brentwood, and a $4.9 million estate in Calabasas, California, that includes a recording studio.
The 59-year-old also clinched a spot on the Apple executives' table when he sold Beats to the tech company, allegedly bringing his net worth to a massive $820 million.
The Producer Planned To Sell His Music Catalog
The aspiring Olympic medalist may also become a billionaire soon. Last year, he was reportedly working on a deal to sell his music catalog and streaming ventures.
Dr. Dre's legendary catalog pulls in nearly $10 million annually as a form of idle income for the rapper.
The deal involving Shamrock Holdings and Universal Music groups was reportedly in the works last year and was handled by Dr. Dre's attorney, Peter Paterno.
However, the possible sale is not the end of Dr. Dre's music career. Sources stated that his producing skills are still in high demand, and he will continue to work with artists.
It will be exciting to see Dr. Dre back up his words with actions and appear at the Olympics in 4 years!
