Bobby Brown is breaking his silence on the autopsy report which listed his son's death as a lethal combination of alcohol, cocaine, and Fentanyl.

The 'My Prerogative ' singer is reacting to the Los Angeles County Corner's Office's report that his 28-year-old son, Bobby Brown Jr. died as a result of the "combined effects" of the three substances. It's clear from the statement, Bobby wants the drug dealer involved in this situation held accountable for supplying his son with the deadly substances.

“My family continues to mourn my son’s death. Street fentanyl has taken the life of so many people unnecessarily and Bobby Jr is another victim. This epidemic is out of control and those supplying this lethal drug should be held responsible for the death and destruction that it causes," Bobby said.

As we reported, investigators claimed Bobby's son had a "history" with drug and alcohol use -- and interviewed his girlfriend who confirmed he has snorted lines of cocaine and Percocet in the hours leading up to his death.

It appears the family is pointing the finger at street drugs as the culprit, in this case, saying one of the two drugs must have been laced with the power opioid, Fentanyl.

"The Department of Medical Examiner, County of Los Angeles has released the autopsy and toxicology report for Bobby Brown Jr. The report indicates that Bobby Jr.accidently ingested a fatal amount of fentanyl on November 18, 2020. Bobby was not into drugs. Bobby was often easily influenced. This is a situation where he associated himself with the wrong people. My son is gone and those who contributed to his senseless death should be held accountable." said Kim Ward, Bobby Brown Jr.’s mother.

The family's attorney, Chris Brown, included information pointing out the "street fentanyl" is much more potent than regulated prescription medication.

“Prescription fentanyl does not come in powder form. It is rather clear that street fentanyl was consumed by Bobby Jr. without his knowledge and we believe it killed him. Bobby Jr. had low, trace amounts of alcohol and cocaine in his system but he had fatal amounts of fentanyl in his heart and blood.” Said Attorney Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC.

He continued, "Street fentanyl is 80 times as potent as morphine and hundreds of times more potent than heroin.”

It's unclear if law enforcement has a suspect in this case, but reports say they have launched a criminal investigation into the supplier of the narcotics.
