The former "Bachelorette" lead has dropped a few gems for Grant Ellis, who is presently on the show to look for love.

Lindsay encouraged Ellis to look out for himself by getting a lawyer on speed dial should he find love and propose on the ABC hit show.

The TV star's advice is not far-fetched as her marriage to Abasolo, who won her season in 2017, hit the rocks last year, and they are now slugging it out in the courtroom.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2019, now see Lindsay paying her chiropractor ex-husband $13,000 in spousal support, and he allegedly still wants more money.

While Lindsay had a remarkable season as the first Black "Bachelorette" lead, her marriage was not the fairytale the viewers envisioned when she handed Abasolo the rose.

TMZ shared that Ellis is also about to follow in her footsteps as the second Black "Bachelor" lead, and Lindsay is more than excited at the diversity and inclusivity this season.

The chiropractor did not limit his demands to the huge spousal support. The Blast shared that he also wanted half of their family residence, which he claimed is their community asset.

Abasolo stated that Lindsay has earned a reasonable income from her businesses, including a successful Apple Podcast titled "Higher Learning" and several books like "Real Love and "Miss Me With That."

He continued that despite her wealth, she continued to use money from their community property to offset her legal fees and costs while refusing him access to the same funds to sort his legal bills and personal expenses.

The TV star claimed that the community property, which includes a family residence in North Hollywood, was not Lindsay's sole property. However, Abasolo noted that Lindsay failed to acknowledge his stake in the asset despite being eligible for half of it. He stated:

"I believe that the majority, if not all, of the $466,000 down payment on our Family Residence came from community property earned during our marriage."

The 44-year-old appealed to the court to intervene, declaring, "I believe that the majority, if not all, of the $466,000 down payment on our Family Residence came from community property earned during our marriage."

Abasolo's demand for spousal support and legal fee payment was allegedly caused by an extended career pause during his marriage to the ABC star.

The chiropractor revealed that he made that decision because he and Lindsay had to move twice, and that sacrifice affected his finances. He continued that while he had to deal with his plummeting savings, Lindsay experienced a career boost as a successful media personality.

Abasolo expressed his wish to leave their family residence, but his lack of funds stalled the process. Thus, the 44-year-old requested $50,000 in attorney fees and costs and $25,000 in forensic accountant's fees.

"Many of you know me as a chiropractor and husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew."

Lindsay previously admitted that they lived different lives due to their jobs and other activities that kept them apart. She stated that her estranged husband is a sole practitioner who left the house at 8 and came back "9 o'clock, 9:30 (at night)."

The reality TV star continued that she has more free time since she stopped doing "Extra" and had lots of events and appearances that kept them apart.

"I have a lot more free time … and then I'm back in hustle mode trying to get a second job, so I go to events. So, we're just in two totally different places," she noted.

Will Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo resolve their divorce anytime soon? That remains to be seen.
