Chelsea Handler is going to kneed a lot of recovery time after she tore her meniscus skiing.
The sporty comedienne revealed that she suffered some major and some minor injuries while on the slopes in British Columbia, Canada on Sunday, March 21. Handler has been on an extended ski vacation with some gal pals and perhaps went a little too hard. "I have a torn meniscus, two broken toes I think," she said on social media. Her revelation comes after she admitted that she hit several trees over the course of her ski adventure. She's one tough cookie!

"One's definitely broken, the other just might be in a bad mood," she said, referring to her toes, "and my arm broke a tree so... but I can sky down almost anything now," she said with a braggadocious manner.
Despite her injuries, Handler is extremely proud of what she accomplished on her skis. She even tried heliskiing for the first time. "I never thought I’d be able to do this, but I did and I can and I will again," she captioned a video of her majestic turns (seen below). However, the whole trip wasn't fresh powder and wide-open spaces; she found herself colliding with some trees while on her runs.
Chelsea shared a video of herself shortly after going down near a tree. "I keep falling like this," she emotionally said. "I skied into one tree today!" She posted another tree incident that her ski buddies captured last week. "Whoopsie doodle," she wrote at the time. That crash (seen below) looked a little more intense than the recent one but let's hope she doesn't make it a habit. "I flew into the trees accidentally," she said. The photo featured her skis and poles spread out amongst the trees.

Handler celebrated her 46th birthday on February 25 and decided to strip down and smoke a J while going down the mountain... strange, but she likes what she likes! "It’s important to stay hydrated as well as relaxed, and it’s also important to celebrate your body no matter what age or size. This is 46 (with some peptides) and as I transition into a mountain woman," she wrote alongside a video of her with flags on her helmet and no shirt. Talk about skiing at your own risk!
