Flavor Flav stands by Jordan Chiles and wants to gift her something that "no one else has."

On August 5, 23-year-old Jordan Chiles flipped her way to the bronze medal in the floor exercise final, but not without a little help from her coach’s quick thinking.

USA Gymnastics' Cecile Landi raised eyebrows by challenging the judges on Chiles' original score, which had her in fifth place. The judges recalculated, bumping Chiles' score from 13.666 to 13.766, which snatched the bronze right out of Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu's hands. Barbosu, who initially had the bronze with a score of 13.700, was left in tears.

Controversy and backlash surfaced on social media, leading a judge from the Court of Arbitration for Sport to rule that Jordan Chiles must forfeit her bronze medal.

On August 11, the court decided that Jordan Chiles' bronze medal would be given to Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu. The ruling came after Barbosu and her teammate Sabrina Maneca-Voinea challenged their scores.

Maneca-Voinea’s score was bumped up to 13.700 following an appeal over a stepping-out-of-bounds deduction, tying her with Barbosu. But while Barbosu takes the bronze, Maneca-Voinea ends up in fourth place, and Chiles drops to fifth.

"We are in touch with the NOC of Romania to discuss the reallocation ceremony and with USOPC regarding the return of the bronze medal," a statement from the organization read, per People Magazine.

The CAS found that Landi’s inquiry was submitted outside the one-minute time limit for appeals. However, USA Gymnastics now claims to have video evidence showing that the inquiry was, in fact, within the allowed time.

"USA Gymnastics on Sunday formally submitted a letter and video evidence to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, conclusively establishing that Head Coach Cecile Landi’s request to file an inquiry was submitted 47 seconds after the publishing of the score, within the 1-minute deadline required by FIG rule," the federation said in a statement shared with People on August 11.

Chiles has since stepped away from social media.
