Cardi B Shows Off Pregnant Belly In New Snap After 'Freak Accident'

Earlier this week, 31-year-old pregnant rapper Cardi B revealed she recently suffered a "freak accident" that left her "unable to move" and nearly led to a pregnancy loss.

Luckily, she has made a full recovery and she and her baby are both happy and healthy.

A few days after her "freak accident," Cardi B provided fans with a positive update, sharing a glimpse of her baby bump during a relaxing day.

Wearing a new blonde wig, the singer flaunted her baby bump in a gray maxi dress, accessorized with a hot pink zip-up and matching slide sandals. "Regular comfy days," she captioned the mirror selfie.

While some eyes were on her growing bump, others couldn't help but notice the number of wigs Cardi had on display in the background. "I wanna be at that level of rich where my wigs have personal shelves," one of her followers said.

"This wig closet is bigger than some opps bedrooms," another wrote.

"YOURS WIGS??? THEY LIVE MORE COMFORTABLE THAN ME OMG," a third said.

The snap comes just one day after Cardi revealed she had a "freak accident" that almost "cost" her little one growing inside her belly. “I had a f-cking freak accident. I don’t know how something — well, it wasn’t little, it actually hurt,” she said on a recent X Spaces chat, per People Magazine.

“It doesn’t really happen often, but it become [sic] so big to the point I was literally paralyzed and that little thing almost cost me my little one to come."

The "I Like It" artist went on to explain, "I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped, and I kind of busted my a--."

"I felt a weird jerk, like a pop, and I couldn't get up really," she added. "When I woke up, I couldn't move my bottom at all. Like, just moving my feet was hurting the bottom of my stomach. I couldn't move. I felt like paralyzed."

Fortunately, "it didn’t" result in a pregnancy loss and she is "feeling good" since the incident. "I came home, but I came home high as a kite," she said with a chuckle. "Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying, If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a f-ck."

"I’mma exaggerate this sh-t so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn," she said again.

Cardi B and Offset, who tied the knot in September 2017, have had their share of ups and downs over the years.

Their relationship hit a rough patch in late December 2018 when Offset's infidelity came to light, resulting in a short-lived separation. However, the couple reunited in early 2019, but the two have called it off as Cardi filed for divorce, aiming for primary custody of their kids--daughter, Kulture, 5, and a son, Wave, 2--and showing no signs of backing down.

“It’s not something that happened overnight… They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable,” a source who spoke to Page Six said.

Shortly after the news of her divorce filing broke, Cardi B announced she was expecting another child. "With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!" she wrote on Instagram at the time.

"Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!" Cardi added. "It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!
