One man down! Donald Trump's presidential campaign train has just lost a major supporter to principal rival Kamala Harris!
The former president's speech mentioning Martin Luther King seems to have been the tipping point for Meghan McCain, a staunch Republican, leading to her Harris victory prediction.
Donald Trump compared his January 6 speech to Martin Luther King's famous 1963 declaration, and Meghan McCain's hat is now in for Kamala Harris.
Meghan McCain Predicts Kamala Harris Win Over Donald Trump
The political activist quoted the handle, which uploaded a video of Trump insinuating he had a better outing than MLK.
McCain gave a short comment that read, "Vice President Harris is going to win," spurring hundreds of opinions from interested observers who have followed the presidential debates keenly.
"By next week, he'll be claiming his rallies are visible from space!" wrote this useras a response to Trump's seemingly overconfident claim in the video.
Another commenter added: "I'm glad you FINALLY realize it! We tried to tell you but you wouldn't believe us! It's OVER!"
"He's trying to compete with MLK on crowd size, LMFAO," noted a very amused user who could not believe Trump's latest stunt. Another commenter who seemed to have a soft spot for the former president explained:
"If you watch the full clip, he says that the press claimed millions were at MLKs rally, yet when he held a rally in the same location, they claimed there were only a few thousand, despite there being the same amount - or more - people. But alas, another out of context snippet."
This statement from Trump is the latest of his many controversial one-liners and speeches in the ongoing presidential campaign ahead of the November presidential elections.
What Did Trump Really Say?

The business mogul took an interesting route in his interview with reporters at Mar-A-Lago today and reminisced about the massive crowd at his January 6, 2021 rally.
Trump compared the teeming crowd right before the riot at the Capitol to the attendees at some of King Jr.'s rallies, especially the Million Man March of 1963 in Washington.
The former president claimed that people regularly stated the crowd was smaller than it really was and that a million attendees were actually out for his own campaign.
He went further by challenging the reporters to compare a picture from his January 6 speech to one from King on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and declared that the two crowds were the same.
Trump also claimed they spoke at the same venue, but it was fact-checked to be false. While MLK gave his speech at Lincoln Memorial, Trump addressed his audience at the Ellipse.
The politician concluded his talk by stating that he would let people get away with the MLK had more crowd comments because he admired him, but he does not see things that way, per TMZ.
The 'Size Issue' Also Came Up Between Trump and Harris
Perhaps Trump's comment was fueled by Harris' snide remarks about the size of their campaign crowd.
Yesterday, the current vice president and prospective presidential candidate of the Democratic Party subtly compared Trump's crowd to her own and had her team post it on Truth Social.
The Republican candidate may have chosen a rather indirect way to respond to Harris, but he reportedly has plans to engage in more than one debate with Harris.
Trump confirmed on Thursday that he has agreed to face the former prosecutor in three debates and is awaiting her side to "agree to the terms." The two will slug it out of Fox News on September 4, NBC on September 10, and ABC on September 25.
Kamala Harris Gets The Obamas Blessings On VP Nominee
The 59-year-old is gathering the right momentum towards her widely projected victory as the Obamas okayed her selection of Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
The Blast noted that the former president and first lady applauded Harris for not choosing "someone inexperienced and polarizing" and for making it clearexactly what she stood for with her choice of an "ideal partner."
The Obamas endlessly praised Walz not only for his experience in the vice president role but also for his values and integrity. In their words:
"As governor, Tim helped families and businesses recover from the pandemic, established paid family leave, guaranteed the right to an abortion, and put common sense gun safety measures in place to keep communities safe."
Trump Campaign Team Expressed Their Opinion On Harris And Walz As A Team
While Harris and Walz have gathered impressive nods of approvals from different quarters, Trump's team has totally different reactions.
The Democrat candidate's press secretary Karoline Leavitt described Walz as a "West Coast wannabe, who has allegedly spent his governorship trying to reshape Minnesota in the image of a left-wing California."
Leavitt added that the combination of Harris-Walz as the ideal California dream is "every American's nightmare" and described Walz as a dangerously liberal extremist.
All eyes are on Donald Trump and Kamala Harris as they race to occupy the esteemed Oval Office.
