Emily Ratajkowski In Sheer Dress Without Underwear Told 'This Is Not Fashion'

Emily Ratajkowski may have slipped her curves into vintage Versace for this year's Met Gala, but the 33-year-old was actually told her look is "not fashion" by a popular comment on Instagram. In May, the supermodel joined the list of celebrities swarming the NYC-held event's red carpet, choosing a floor-length sheer gown and leaving little to the imagination as she wore absolutely nothing underneath. Having flashed her bare chest beneath the dress during her glitzy night, EmRata posted her look to Instagram, where fans pounced on her for allegedly always wearing next to nothing.

Making up for her conservative neckline with those see-through fabrics, the Inamorata founder went braless beneath her dress, one heavily embellished with crystal-like motifs covering the sheer materials. Over on her IG, Emily shared BTS moments likely from her hotel suite, with a bathroom shot offering fans an eye-popping rear view of her undies-free look.

Making sure to also flaunt the dress' backless design, Emily kept glam with a bun hairdo complete with fun spikes, also sporting plenty of makeup as she dolled herself up for the celeb-filled soiree. In her Instagram caption, the swimwear designer wrote: "Met 2024 in Versace fw 2001, thank you @voguemagazine for having me!"

"Too cheap. Leave something to the imagination please," one fan replied. "This is not fashion. It’s a cry for help," another said. The replies came amid a wave of scantily-clad Instagram posts largely seeing Emily Ratajkowski's fans tired by her regular bikini and lingerie displays. The mom of one also wound up being dubbed a hypocrite for stripping down while identifying as a feminist.

In May, Emily faced another round of backlash, this time as fans reacted to the above photo. Cupping her bare chest as she wore only skimpy briefs and an open robe, Emily posed from an ordinary bathroom as she flaunted her topless curves. "You’ve got to learn how to dress properly, love. Your clothes are always half on!" one fan replied. Over 800 fans agreed when a further fan wrote: "I'm tired boss."

Despite getting hate online, Emily is still walking away a winner as she continues to enjoy immense success, both via her 2017-founded Inamorata brand, plus her high-profile modeling gigs. The above shot caught over 1.3 million likes as EmRata strolled around NYC in only a bikini and sneakers while holding an iced coffee.
